You mean certified preowned?
Here it means the vehicle comes with a safety certification, the mechanical safety inspection. And, of course that it's used.
It comes with whatever is with it, no standard really.
I will add that a safety cert here has a fixed cost plus whatever it needs, like...
The advantage of the HIS was a higher capacity than what the onboard inverters can provide, automatic switching without powering the truck and scalability with solar and external battery. I think it's a great idea but the cost doesn't fit my use case. In the year I've owned the truck, I...
People don't usually get on the internet to tell everyone things are working.
The HIS works but the cost is ridiculous for most people. If I lived in a place with unreliable power or an offgrid system then it might be a good idea.
Sunrun can't organize shipping a charger so I definitely...
Yes, it's cheap, most 3d printed stuff is.
The oem one meets the safety spec though. I don't need either right now but some people might like to keep the stock look, it's also luminescent.
The part number is for anyone who wants to reference it.
Looks great!
Ignore what the guess o meter says, there is nothing wrong with your truck.
Your range is being reduced by your out of tolerance setup.
3 things:
1. Suspension lift is changing geometry and aero profile.
2.your tires are now sticking out into the airflow creating even more...
What kind of chargers or evse are they?
There was some reports of the trucks not working because of bad location data or something. The fix was to clear all of the stored charger data.
I refuse to buy any products marked as vehicle type specific. It's an h3 group agm battery.
I can get the ford one for about $250 CAD if I needed it.
Nearly $300 USD for that die-hard one, ouch.
Ford has a pretty good tpms system. As long as your 5th sensor is programmed then it should work flawlessly. I had 4 rims installed this year that had sensors from an f150 2019 and they worked without any reprogram whatsoever.
Be aware though that some tpms equipment has a hard time...
No you can't and no you shouldn't.
It's absolutely insane to turn the built in tracking off to show trust in your teenage kids. Not to mention that it's a great safety feature and anti theft device.
A full size spare and rim is unnecessary in 99.99% of use cases.
The last time I owned a vehicle with one was a 2002 land rover disco 2. I got a flat, the special safety lock lugnut tool broke and I had to flatbed the truck anyway. I haven't needed one since then, tires are just way better...
It became an option for 2023 models.
The reduced power problem can be caused by a few things. Some even found it to be a bad 240v dongle, not the unit itself. Could be the unit though, I haven't had any problems with mine so I haven't done a teardown yet.
No, it's just a module replacement. A lot of people don't realize that Ford uses a modular design. The clickbait "horror stories" of cars needing $60k battery replacements has led people to believe that an ev battery is one big chunk.
People in glass houses and all that.
But ya, recalls aren't a big deal usually. They are regulatory requirements.
They bad recalls, for example, takata inflators can sink a company but font size isn't a problem.
I'll be happy if people can differentiate between an actual recall and a CSP.
Lightning sightings are up in my area. One drove by my house today, I see them on the road now too. Also, 2024 I've seen a rivian finally. There was a CT sighting last week allegedly. Teslas cars are commonplace now. Saw a polestar last week too, Id.4's, ioniq 5, a couple of other small...
As long as you have a competent dealer you will be just fine. I don't think there's a lot of bad battery modules out there, just random failures that can happen.
There are a lot of sensors built in to the units to warn of impending problems and prevent damage, I wouldn't worry about it.
The...
Bunch of negative Nancies shilling for oil and gas companies. Just like any losing side, it's always the same regurgitated stats or straight up fabrications. Fake personal experiences or I heard it from my cousins father's brother mother.
Here are the points, feel free to add:
