  1. New Flash Delivered and Now Won’t Start or Shift

@Ford is looped in now and I am confident they will take care of you as they have me in the past (for different, less critical of an issue). I will be watching this thread.
  2. Tcu replacement

No new updates on the issue - the replaced TCU seems to have resolved the issue and Ford covered 70% of the cost because it was out of warranty but they started working on it prior to warranty being expired - but they would not cover all of it. Other than this the truck has been flawless in it...
  3. What’s your exit plan for the truck?

Mine is to squeeze the door handle and step out…😉 But seriously - I have never purchased any vehicle worrying about the resale value…it’s a tool to get work done and let me conduct the activities of my life. We traded in our 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with 348,000 miles on it when the...
  4. First big trip in Lariat ER

I have done several long distance hauls with my 2023 Lightning Lariat ER which now has about 56,000 miles on it since 1/6/23 - it’s a great road tripper, here are some of our drives from SE Pennsylvania: First week we drove to West Palm Beach Florida (pre NACS) - no real issues with EA down 95...
  5. Post-Wash Photoshoot

    Beautiful shots!
  6. Preowned pedal area

Yes - Mine looks like this too…I think they only bring the carpet up as far as you can visually see getting in and out of the truck to save $$ on material costs.
  7. Tesla NACS Adapter Recall / Replacement Notice (10/24/24)

Yes - I received this too. Just validated my address was correct.
  8. Full charge but below 131 KW of usable power

The Veepak OBD adapter and the CarScanner app would allow you to display dashboards they have pre configured on the 15” screen, like this: The Apple App Store link for the SW is: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/car-scanner-elm-obd2/id1259933623 the OBD dongle is: Veepeak OBDCheck BLE...
  9. Ford EVSE level 1/2 charger failure.

Hi, Sorry you are having issues - have you tried going to a Level 2 charger somewhere around you to ensure it’s not a problem with the truck components and not the mobile charger itself? I would try that (not a fast charger - just a level 2 destination AC charger) just to be sure you know...

  17. FordPass app update 5.4.0 (iOS & Android)

Prior to this update if I would set a charging target for the home location it would break my FordPass connectivity. The 5.4.0 updated appears to have fixed this issue!
  18. Tesla not appearing in charger list/no plug-n-charge

I was also going to mention charge assist…hopefully they will find their way to the native navigation and route planning soon.
  19. Anyone getting Concerned that Ford is not in on EV for the long haul

Just wanted you to know… The first week we had our 23 Lariat ER we drove it from SE PA to West Palm Beach , FL. In December 2023 we drove from SE PA to Detroit to meet with Ford, then in February 2024 we drove from SE PA to Chicago, IL to meet with Ford at the Chicago auto show…all before I...
  20. NACS adapter modifications

Honestly - I have just completed a 2,800 mile road trip using almost exclusively Tesla stations and as long as you pull up sufficiently close - there is no need to have an extension. It will be nice when they add longer cables someday but I would not risk damaging the adapter or possibly...
