To leave Sketch open, go to Settings, Vehicle, and turn off Vehicle Power Down Timer. After that, switch back to Sketch and it should stay open. You will have to do this for every power cycle. I hope we see a dog mode come in an OTA this year!
Unfortunately this was on purpose, there was a recall caused by this update and Ford reverted the changes that saved the drive mode setting. Basically, off-road mode turns off traction control/puts it into an off-road specific setting and it didn’t alert the driver that it was off when a new...
If you don’t already know, Tesla, Hyundai, and Kia have a feature that when the turn signal is toggled, a camera feed shows a live feed of the corresponding blind spot. Well, I’m sure I’m not the only Lightning owner that wants this feature to come in an OTA update. I discovered a page where it...
My dealer is waiting on the parts for the replacement. Hopefully, the parts come in soon as I've had my truck for one year since October 21st and my lightbar's been dead for 99 days and counting.
I would love to see this, it would increase my confidence in the system as well. I would like it to show me what it can and can’t see so I know if I need to intervene before it makes a mistake, instead of after.
I completely agree, one pedal works amazingly in pretty much all conditions in my experience! But you are right, sometimes in icy conditions, you may have to let off slower to prevent slipping, which is why a snow mode that changes the one pedal performance would be nice. I drove my Lightning...
I know, I agree but it would be nice to have a snow mode
I agree, it’s very capable in winter conditions, but personally turning off one pedal isn’t intuitive and having the option to tone down one pedal and tweak the powertrain in the package of a snow mode seems appealing.
I’ve been through a winter storm in my Lightning and yes, it handles the conditions very well, but it could be tuned better for icy conditions. It’s super fun to slide around but occasionally one pedal skids because it’s slowing down too quickly. Having those tweaks would boost my confidence a bit.
Winter isn’t too far away and I would love to see a snow mode that changes the tuning of the powertrain for snow and ice conditions. Surely I’m not the only one requesting this from Ford. If they change the steering, throttle mapping, one pedal driving intensity, traction management, etc. for...
Unfortunately the speed sign recognition uses map data and camera data, so sometimes the map data is wrong or the camera sees the incorrect speed sign. Ford should add a report incident button to BlueCruise that grabs the logs and sends them to Ford so BlueCruise can improve with customer input.
