Update on my repair, the second dealer I contacted was able to get me in on 5/15 and provided me with a loaner gas F150. According to the final paperwork battery module #6 was bad, they ordered the replacement module, heat shield and thermal paste. The repair was completed on 6/6 , 22 days total...
Updated my vote as I joined the club yesterday . I was charging at work, made it to my preset charge limit then I hit "Charge to 100%" in anticipation of a trip I'm taking today a few minutes later I received a charge fault and power train malfunction errors. Now I'm at 57% power...
The railcar my Lightning is on arrived in Miami last night for offload. My delivery ETA also shifted from 12/13-12/19 to 12/25-12/31 on the Ford website, hopefully it's conservative and won't take that long to get trucked the final ~80 miles to the dealership.
Anyone have access to United Road...
I received the shipped email on 12/7/22 and have been tracking the railcar my Lightning is on as it makes it's way south. Sitting just south of Atlanta as of 3am this morning. @Wsl346, thanks again for spending the time to track all these deliveries!
Fingers crossed, but I reached shipped status about a month after you in the tracking spreadsheet. So I might be loading up on one of the next trains to FL, but like you said, Ford's tracking leaves a lot to be desired :p.
I reached out to Ford CS chat for tracking info since I received my shipped notification earlier this week, they provided me with a Convoy tracking number (which my understanding is the public can't track anymore). Seems weird to convoy all the way to Florida, think it's the first leg to the...
Received my shipped email this morning, ETA is still 12/15-12/21. I reached out to Ford CS yesterday but they did not have a rail car #, guess I'll have to bother them again soon. Still sweating delivery by the end of the year but there is hope!
That is what is frustrating me as well, it seems like once the truck makes it to whatever location they are storing them while on chip holds (Ramp 51?) Ford only finishes the build when it is convenient, not first in, first out.
I'm happy for the 11/14 build week folks who's Lariats are making it to built status, but it's driving my crazy refreshing the tracking page to no avail... I'm worried the chip holds aren't first in, first out.
There seems to be a chip hold slowing Lariat/Platinums making it to built status. There are still a couple of us from 10/24 build week that are approaching 4 weeks "in production", all with Lariats...
I just talked with Ford chat, confirmed my Lightning is on a chip hold with no ETA :(, stuck in "in production" purgatory. Lariat and Platinums moving to "built" seems to have slowed to a crawl over the last few weeks.
Added my order to the submission form.
