On our EVs we rarely use the brakes thanks to one pedal driving - however it kinda sucks when you notice your rotors have surface rust after driving in the rain and you have to consciously remember to stop a little more suddenly so you can use the actual brakes to clean that rust off :ROFLMAO...
Getting pulled over is a downer....so is paying to have it removed and going to the police station to prove it... follow your state's tinting laws: https://windowtintlaws.us/
Arizona is 33%
Though on a plus side, a lot of times the tinting requirement is only for the front driver and passenger...

With the Pro having Vinyl floors (big plus in my book) - Floormats/trays aren't really needed?
Maybe only if one gets in and out of the truck multiple times a day in mud/snow and a weathertech tray would make it easier to pour it out on a daily basis?
that is a pretty big range...
For the setup you detailed - it looks like you are considering the EV-B plan....-

In your situation, Assuming, your Lighting/EV would be charging at night - it would be cheaper to just set your lightning to not charge until 9pm and stop at 4am. Unless power rates go up dramatically, not too sure you'd recoup your investment (panels, mounting, battery, inverter and EVSE) in a...

If we assume the truck gets 1.8 miles per kw at 65mph that would equate roughly to 36 kw per hour to sustain it....But you wouldn't necessarily want to run a generator/engine that has a max sustained capacity of 36kw since that would most likely be the least efficient fuel wise and probably...
The whole home generator idea is still mostly viable without sunrun....the SR Pro with the Pro power package will be around 44K (37k-ish if you are getting it before the 7.5K fed ev tax credit starts the sundown)
Would only have a max output of 7.2kw instead of 10kw at 240v...getting a manual...

The first gen Leaf also has horrible thermal management for the batteries - with the first batch cooking themselves in hot climates (Arizona, Texas, FL, etc)...and continue to simmer since they are still air cooled.... for a few months in 2018 you could buy those used for around 3-5K (and...
This may be a repeat of what happened with most early gen EVs (ie early Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, Fiat 500e, etc) -- if history repeats itself, this will result in short term glut of second hand SR F150 Lightnings in 2-3 years...then again may be not as the effects of the chip shortages and used car...
Hoping it has drain plugs so we can just hose the floors...if not, I wonder how well a weather tech liner will say put without carpeting/those velcro disks they give you...
Until the vast majority of truck buyers are ok with an "F150" that looks vastly different from a standard pickup - it'll probably continue to look just like it has today...a brick...so maybe they'll introduce a more cost effective unibody, perhaps a new body on frame platform or variable...
Potentially more impactful for a Lightning.... If an 01' F250 went from 16mpg to 19mpg and this was the only mod done to it and it wasn't driven differently or in much different conditions - that is a 18-19% range increase...if that translates directly to EV range - that would boost the EPA...
