Ah sorry I was jumping between threads and missed that this was about the Lightning.

They're standard equipment on the Platinum it seems.
  3. contractors will buy millions of Lightnings

Unlike fossils fuels, the total stockpile of renewable energy is not finite. There isn’t a shortage of sunlight or wind, only of installed capacity. Solar in particular is installed closer to where it’s used so transmission losses are lower and static batteries can help level the demand curve...
  4. contractors will buy millions of Lightnings

30 years of experience in an industry where night time load was always lower and things were done a certain way. Change is coming. Those who can adapt will thrive, those who can not will have a difficult time. Isn’t it more expensive per unit of power generated to run a power plant at a lower...

That looks like the adaptive steering getting confused.

  7. CarPlay Apple Maps updated visuals

I find Apple Maps does better with showing me what lane to be in to take a certain exit, in city driving, it shows much more detail - buildings in 3D, clumps of trees etc, that make it much easier for me to navigate unfamiliar city streets. The only problem with Apple Maps that I have is that...
  8. 2022 MISSING FEATURES: Ambient Lighting & Differences In DEATC between 2021 and 2022 F-150s?

I'm being pedantic, but " GM removed heated seats and steering wheels." is correct grammar. If it was "GM removed heated seats, and steering wheels." then it would sound like they removed steering wheels because of that Oxford comma. :)

  11. 2022 MISSING FEATURES: Ambient Lighting & Differences In DEATC between 2021 and 2022 F-150s?

On a different note, I’d like to add in cup holder and glove box lighting myself later. Is it easy to do it with aftermarket kits?
  12. Lightning EPA Range Confirmation When?

The Rivian's headlight shape costs 75 miles of range in my head. I just can't get past the shape of those lights even though I love so much else I've read about the Rivian. Insightful points on comparing the F-150 with the Ranger btw, that's some food for thought. :)
  13. FordPass - Scriptable Widget (iOS, iPad, MacOS)

This is so cool! Thank you for making this. I don't have my truck yet but I went out and installed the app and loaded my VIN in there in anticipation. :D
  14. Oxford White & Atlas Blue F-150 Lightning XLT Spotted

Almost looks like it’s driving around with a placeholder smaller battery pack and there isn’t enough weight there. Looks weird.
