Because I have specific high power draw loads I needed more amps at 120v. So I rigged up a 250-120v transformer to double my output.
It works flawlessly just starting to build a rig to carry it around transformer is around 150lbs
We were able to run out cement mixer that needs a dedicated 20amp...
So I drove 100km this morning and will be heading back shortly but I wanted to post a few pictures .
my average in summer is 390wh a km
Today I averaged about 310wh km the screens shot shows outside temp and cabin temp
It was-20 when I left -17 now Celsius I left at 87% and arrived 100km down...
Drove 300km today in -1 used 0% of the battery using heat. But I was able to keep the cab at 25-27
Was sure amazing in 4 hours of travel I used 3$ of diesel
Was hauling empty trailer half way then a sxs home
Still uses battery for exterior temp but it wasnt for heating the battery so not sure...
Some people might be butt hurt but whatever.
Can't wait for cold weather testing.
Doesn't get extremely hot in the cab which is ok. But to midly heat the cab and only uses 12watts I'm ok with that
It's not really ment for this but with a bit more tweaking I think it will be perfect
