Got it mostly to keep the small amount of water that get in past my cover from getting on my stuff. But seems like it will keep things from sliding also.
I was looking at FORSCAN (newbe here) and I saw several options for Cruise Control. The one I'm curious about the the one that says 'Brake Limit 2". Anyone know what this is?
True... typicaly you would use the same grade hardware for both pieces, but if not the lower grade would be the spec you would use.
I also agree the number on the paper isn't the absolute limit, there is always a safety factor built in.
Torque values are specific to fasteners, it has to do with the material of the fastener and at what point the threads become properly engaged. Over torqueing can cause the fasteners to fail. If the fasteners is properly engaged at 95 its probably OK. If the lug nuts are designed for 95...
The part number on the sticker in that video is different, is that the individual component and the number you listed is the entire assembly?
It just seems odd that the part with lights and all is only $20. That's crazy.
Is that closer to the driver's side of the truck than the center? Looks like it doesn't go anywhere from there is that correct?
If its where u think it is, I found a similar one in my XLT Poweboost (looks like different wire colors) connected to a small wire that goes up the side of the bed...
I do the same thing to back in my pop-up camper. I have tape lines on the floor and marks on the wall I can see in the camera on the back of the camper.
