So….yes. No BS. I did it.
My neighbor has 2 in his driveway as well. Their first..and second...
The tailgate moves but I’m not full sending it when I have a load in the back. There’s enough resistance from the motors to keep it from flapping like it does in my Pro.
On the Pro you very clearly hear it slapping up and down, doesn’t happen in my Lariat ER with the power tailgate.
I’ve got a power tailgate on my Lariat which stays down, but on my Pro I’ll shift the load back onto the tailgate to keep it from flopping. Or I’ll use a 1/2 sheet of ply back there if it’s a planned pickup.
Answering for a friend..
No you don’t get the screen anymore. You can go to Energy-Access Permissions and see Plug n Charge but no icons. You can also click on your account and go to connected services.
but I don’t know if that’s generic or if it’ll change based on your software version.
If...
Gets 2.9mi/kWh at about 85mph, and I average about 15-20min for a charging stop. It’s quite an impressive vehicle.
The frunk is small, it’s basically the subfrunk for me. I store charging cables, outdoor blanket and not much else.
It has its pros, and it has its cons. The worst is I haven’t...
I struggle with that on my road trips right now.
If I take the Lightning, I get less efficiency and buffer. If I take the Kia, I lose supercharger access. So far supercharger access trumps efficiency..but when I’m paying for the charge it sure is nice to use half the energy
I’m on the road. The GoM says I have 137mi of range and 45% charge. Waze and Google says I am 136mi from home.
My afternoon is up to you guys. Do I got for it?
With a suspension that’s set up to bounce around and brakes that are a tad undersized.
On the bright side at 107 mph and the efficiency of a brick, we should be out of energy in a mile or two.
The superchargers are going to be near worthless on the EV9s, because of the way the packs are setup; we won’t get anymore than 80kW until the V4 SCs roll out.
I replied to you on the Kia forums as well, in a worse case scenario - heat usage, headwinds, elevation, and a 80mph average - no, I...
Even for legs? He was able to extend his leg into the aisle and the sides of the captains chairs. Not sure how that would work or if they could slide under on the 7 seater.
You will also see a couple of videos online. The most notable is the recent Out of Spec one, this car charges differently from a Tesla. If you charge it the same way it will lose those races.
Having owned and road tripped them all the driving style is different.
Tesla: 5-50%. Charge and go. Go...
My 6’1 Nephew sat in the 3rd row for 2 hours not a single complaint and this kid complains about EVERYTHING. He voluntarily jumped in the back on the 2 hours back home, even when we offered to relocate the car seats. This is in the 6 seater, I’m sure the 7 seater would be tighter.
(He...
