Firn, this has been discussed in a number of threads. Unless something changed in a recent update, the Lightning does not precondition the HV battery. Only the MachE has this feature.

to clarify the Lightning does not have DCFC battery pre-conditioning; only the Mach-e has this feature.

Dylan, wondering if you tried running the mixer off 1 leg of the 240v outlet since it's rated at 30A. I haven't tried it on the Lightning, but have used a 240v generator outlet to run 120v trailer this way. That would avoid the need for a transformer.

Regarding that last comment, I've used the Tesla charger with my Lightning AT the Malta Supercharger location. You need to use the Tesla app to release the CCS component, otherwise the charger only releases the NACS end...
