The canister has two drain tubes on both ends that are typically routed out the grommets in the front of the bed.

Do you know if this is just the latch freezing or is it the slats and/or rollers? Reason I ask is that since the electric cover doesn't have this feature, freezing may not be an issue for those models.

Anybody installed a BEDRUG bed mat (no sides) without the adhesive tape? I don't love the idea of sticking double-sided tape to the bed so I'm wondering if you can just toss one of these in the bed without it permanently sliding around and being uneven.

WeatherTech customer service confirmed their mats will fit the 21's including with the under seat storage but I still have my reservations... I do know 21's were unavailable on their website a week ago and they have recently appeared so wondering if that was on oversight or if they do indeed...

Good to know. It looks like you have to hold the remote button down to move the cover. This seems like a battery suck. I feel like a better design would allow for one click to start/stop. Curious, is there a way to manually operate the cover if the motor/battery dies?

@Hullguy Any problems putting it together or fairly straight forward install? I've read a few guys who had trouble lining up both rails exactly parallel to get the thing to slide smoothly.
