  1. Generac 6852 Transfer Switch installed (to power my house from the Pro Power 240V plug)

I will be the first to admit I misread or misunderstand somethings. I was curious about the larger breaker as well, though every thing I have read seems to indicate the 30a and 50a are the limitations on the generator and both are limited to 50A on the utility supply. I would love for you to...
  2. Generac 6852 Transfer Switch installed (to power my house from the Pro Power 240V plug)

On so you wish you had more options/circuits to control what to shed? My goal is only fridge and deep freezer and some plugs. My panel is full as it is, so I am using this as a pricey sub panel that allows for a generator. I need 4 slots free 2x EVSE and 2x for sub panel.
  3. Emporia EVSE and Vue Gen2 Review

I own an Emporia Vue 2 as well and I am looking at getting their EVSE as well. I am looking into a transfer switch and I am wondering what made you go with the reliance over the generac? The reliance seems to have a watts gauge on it, while the generac has an option to upgrade to the automatic...
  4. Generac 6852 Transfer Switch installed (to power my house from the Pro Power 240V plug)

Aren't both the Generac 30A & 50A MTS both limited to 50A on the utility side according to the specs: https://www.generac.com/generaccorporate/media/library/content/all-products/portable-recreational-power/homelink/homelink-spec-sheet_0l1648_1.pdf From what I can see it looks like the following...
  5. Any MSRP dealer in NY?

I would use Van Bortel Ford in Fairport, NY. I bought my 21 F-150 Platinum PowerBoost from them and they are very transparent on their pricing and they don't negociate. The price for my 21 was a set amount below invoice + any applicable rebates on top of it. Granted the Lightning and Mach-E have...
  6. Powerboost Overheated while Towing

At least they came clean with how their test was flawed. Though I worry many came away with the wrong conclusion.
  7. Anyone got/getting a 21 and looking at the Lightning?

I ordered a Plat PB on 1/7 and have yet to get it. It currently has an ETA of 7/19. My current ride is a falling apart 2005 MDX. I am not fully sure if I should just hold off on the PB or trade it in at a different date. My wife got a Mach-E and I really like it. It really has taken a bit of the...
  8. Boat Launch with EV?

If you do, then you did something wrong.
  9. Are reservation holders required to pay MSRP + markup?

Wow, you guys have very crappy dealers. Hopefully they won't be dealers for long. The dealers around here are very reasonable and are selling below MSRP, even if it means they empty their lot.
  10. Trim Pricing For 2022 F-150 Lightning Revealed in Survey Email! [Before and After Tax Credit]

When they introduced the fold down shifter, I realized how pointless it was. I like shifters that zig and zag. If it just goes strait, then it is pointless. Go column or something else like the rotary nob. At 10 gears it is stupid, on a BEV w/ no gears I am dumb founded. The F-150 Lightning is a...
  11. Trim Pricing For 2022 F-150 Lightning Revealed in Survey Email! [Before and After Tax Credit]

The big question will the Lightning have Mach-E like pricing? That is Invoice = MSRP? The caveat with the Mach-E is that it has 2% off the price + the $275 admin fee. I ordered a 701 Plat PB 4x4 w/ TT. Price after discounts and $1,500 rebates is $64,544. If I order a Lightning in the way I...
  12. Will next gen Lighting have a 6.5' bed?

I was thinking about how massive the Frunk is and as pickup owners we usually buy it for the bed. I think in the future, they will redesign the truck keeping the same wheel base of the 5.5, but redesign the front to make it 1' shorter. Then the cab would be pushed up a foot. To me this makes...
  13. Automakers Face A Threat To EV Sales: Slow Charging Times

We got a Premium AWD Std range Mach-E and charge once every 3 or 4 days from 20-40% to 90%. I wonder how much time we will save by not having to go to the pump? It will be nice in winter. As DC fast chargers become more common along interstates, I think things will improve a lot. That is the...
  14. 15.5" infotainment screen vs. 12" screen

My wife and I own a Mach-E and I have sat in 2021 F-150 as well as used the the infotainment on a 2015 F-150. My current 2005 Acura MDX has ~7" infotainment w/ lots of tactile buttons. My F-150 is forever at Ramp59, but I will give my overall impressions. At first I hated the idea of the idea...
  15. Bedrug liner vs mat?

What did you guys go with and why? Granted I wonder how the power outlets and other items work with the liner. I am also thinking about the Dee Zee rubber mat.
  16. Screen Protector for the 12” Screen on 2021 F-150

At most you will get dust on it that you can wipe off with a microfiber cloth. My dog only leaves nose prints on windows. He has no interest in screens. I am more worried about the leather on the center console. Sometimes I take him with me to pick up the kid from school. He goes from the back...
  17. Screen Protector for the 12” Screen on 2021 F-150

I agree with another poster, I don't think it is necessary. I did put one on my Nitendo Switch for my daughter. My truck won't be dropped and I won't have my keys scratching against it.
  18. Katzkin seat covers (Black & Red) in my 2021 F-150 XLT

I like how people customize their trucks like this. Not every build suits everyone's taste, if we all had the same tastes, we would all drive the same truck. I am very impressed you got a matching center console. Thanks for sharing!
  19. 2020 Mud Flaps fit 2021 F-150?

Thanks, I will buy a set for the front. Do the rears only prevent rocks or other items from kicking up? The fronts interest me as people said it helps improve issues with ice/crud build up on the running boards during winter.
  20. Powerboost 2.4KW upgrade to 7.2KW

The 240v/7.2kw will require an additional conductor for the 2nd phase at least. Not to mention a second or more powerful inverter most likelu. I think it would be to costly to retrofit this option. I went with the stock 2.4kw option.
