I have been stuck on update not complete for over a month now. Is it still recommended to just wait for ford to try again or is there anything I can do to fix it on my end?
Mine is also out for delivery today. Order number in the 4000 range, can't remember the exact number. Never got a shipment notification from ford, only my fedex account.
update: received it and mailed back the old one with the provided bag and shipping label.

Keep the updates coming! Competition is good. My wife's Rivian will come off lease about the time these come to market so looking at the SUV pretty closely.
This is great news. Makes the purchase of a GM EV truck not so scary anymore. I would hate to have to go back to EA chargers for 350kw charging. Maybe by the time I'm ready for a new truck in a few years these will be on the major interstates.
Just an FYI, his current truck, the 24 GMC Denali EV can charge at 80 amps.
I would definitely want to retain and 80amp charger for that big battery. I have an 80amp Gen 2 tesla home charger along with a 80amp teslatap that works great for my 22 lightning ER than can accept the full 80amps...
I fully accelerate every day when I leave the house. My driveway is a little over a 1/4 mile. I can hit 70 before having to break for the first corner to go around the pond. Nothing has broken yet, although i did miss corner number 2 before and ended up in the bean field. Took a while to get...
If I understood the parts discussed earlier, your tow loops are still welded to and are apart of the draw bar. If that assumption is correct, then really the forces applied to the truck are still going to transfer to the frame at the draw bar bolts. By all means do this swap and document it...
All of your answers are basically yes but with a few stipulations
1. yes, BUT, not all V3 chargers are open to the NACS adapter. You still need to use the Tesla app or Plugshare or the Built in Ford app in the truck to find V3 and V4 chargers that will work. It is true that no V1 or V2...
