1. Yes, 2. yes, 3. preset. Had the same problem with drive straight and brief "calibratin", then drive straight. Again, when I did more aggressive turns ... 180 degrees ... it calibrated pretty quickly and assist function worked great. Was going to take it to the dealer to see if I also had the...
Not hard to do. Open frank and the remove two trim pieces from behind the grille ... there are about 5 flat clips on each trim piece. Then that will expose some bolts that actually mount the grille. When it comes loose, you have to unclip the electrical connector for the close frank button and...
OMG.
Before I brought my truck into the dealer to have them look for a trailer calibration problem, I decided to read the owner’s manual (.pdf) further. It did make a statement that for longer trailers (mine is a 16’ flat bed car hauler, about 20’ in overall length) when you were told to...
Great news, thanks for the update. Did your rear camera appear to work ok for general backup? Will mention that when I bring mine in. Going to try one more time with some 180 degree turns just so I can tell them I followed ALL of the instructions.
Would be great to know what they find. I have an appointment at my dealer on April 18. However, after reading the Owner's Manual in detail, it says longer trailers may need the left/right turn to be as much as 180 degrees, not just 90 degrees. I am going to give it another try mid-week when...
Thank you ... I have also contacted "Ford" on this forum. Likewise, if I get a resolution, I will post here. Always nice to see closure on a post rather than a long chain with no conclusion.
I am having the same problem. Will not complete calibration after "drive straight" portion begins. Tried for an hour. Any resolution to the OP's original problem? Worked great on my 2019 XLT, but seems the measurement and calibration process have changed. 2022 Lariat ER, September 2022 build.
Some of you might have seen this posted elsewhere, but I could not stand the "unfinished" look of my Lariat grille. Decided to pull the grille and go to my paint booth and repaint it Atlas Blue/Black. It really seems to make the truck look finished". Before and after photos attached.
I agree, the stock Lariat grille looks "unfinished" ... like it has just been primed and they stopped there. So, I pulled the grille and went to my paint booth and got brave to make the transition. The Atlas Blue and Gloss Black now really ties in with the rest of the truck and it looks...
How about this re-paint modification (less the blacked out light bar)? This had been posted somewhere before, but I like it and plan to do my Stone Gray Lariat like this when it arrives (order placed, no production date yet).
I had the same thing happen on my order. Went to innocently remove the scales and smart hitch for a $650 savings to clear the order for scheduling and all of a sudden it added the $2220. Trying to work with the dealer to see what we can do because now it is an 81K vehicle and will be over the...
Thanks ... that must be it ... I deselected onboard scales delete, which I was surprised it let me do. Hope it doesn't delay the production too much. Would like to have the scales though.
Just placed my order for a Lariat SR in Stone Gray Metallic. Noticed the base MSRP went up $650 from the prices first posted when the MY23 pricing was introduced a few weeks ago ... oh well, at least I am not getting hit with any ADM! At least still under the $80k cap if it does not get...
Just wondering if these open offers to order will just go away or be reoffered to next in line. As a May 19 in the first 30 minutes reservation holder, I would love that. Wil probably be waiting for a MY 23 though.
