I had 4 years free which ended in May. I only use it on my trips to / from Maine / Boston -- maybe 10 times a year. Not worth $50 a month. Maybe $5 a month; that's it.
I often find auto parts etc on eBay for less than retail...saw this just now:
Thank you for the lead. Turns out it's not the exact one that'll fit my 2022 Lariat. I'll keep looking. Thanks again.
I think I'll need to buy the entire thing also. How difficult was it to just remove the door? I actually only need the facia plate on the outside of the door. Lariat, 2022, black. The door is in place and works fine. Can you tell me how you separated the door when you got the new part...
I would appreciate any leads on how to find the snap in cover (facia) for the charge port door for my 2022 Lariat.
This winter, a snow plow hit my 2022 Lightning Lariat’s charge door while I was charging on the street. The door is 100% ok. The problem is that the cover (maybe better called...
I believe only the Tesla Super Chargers show up. And even then, only the ones that are open to Ford.
At least that's the way I've configured the Tesla app. Out-of-the-box, the app shows destination chargers (and Super Chargers we are not allowed to use.) But I have the app configured to...
Load the Tesla app on your phone. It's free.
Put your configuration (i.e., Ford Lightning) into the app.
Only attempt to use the Adapter that Ford gave you at Tesla stations which the app says are for your use.
Ford nav sucks. The road my camp is on in Maine was moved back when JFK was President. Where the road used to be is now a 65 year old forest. Ford nav STILL wants me to drive into the trees!
I use Waze (via Apple CarPlay) for navigation and Tesla app for charging.
22 Lariat built May 2022. Got three years of BC for free, and then got another year for free. Now ford wants $500 per year. Not worth it. @Ford Motor Company This is WAY overpriced.
You can turn on ProPower Onboard. This automatically replaces the Vehicle Power Down with a minimum battery %SOC that corresponds to the range you set.
I'm ignorant about this option. Can you advise the advantage of going the "ProPower Onboard" route vs. the "Vehicle Power Down" route? Thanks.
I'm lucky in that my lab has never been inclined to go into the front seat. He's been trained since I got him at 8 weeks old to never jump on furniture. I guess he thinks the front seat is furniture!
Here are the step-by-step instructions for Dog Mode:
AC / Heat On: Be sure AC is set to “Auto” and to, say, 73 degrees.
Truck On: Leave the Truck Running.
Lights to Off: Turn the dial to the left until it’s “off”.
Close Mirrors: This is optional.
“Power Down” Timer Off: Turn Off the 30 minute...
