My railcar number still tells me released from industry back in July when I call UP. Never got entered into the system. I could track it on the first part, while it was on CNR.
Quick lunch time project… I had a soft tonneau cover on my other F150 before upgrading to an aluminum one. Just...
Good call - should have done that! They might have to replace the plastic that they drilled into anyways. That's the one with with the hairline crack, which would solve it anyways. We'll see :)
Super happy with the truck so far. Drives amazing. Several people already did a much better drive report than I could, so I am going to focus on a few other things.
Dealer experience: Went to the dealer yesterday - first they tried to upsell me on a 5k care package, then later a 5k warranty...
Posted an update in the 8/22 group earlier, but after pretty much no update for two weeks, Ford Chat told me this morning that the truck is on a convoy to my dealer. When I called them, they let me make an appointment for tonight to pick it up. Super exited...!
In my case, I called Union...
Just posted this info in the 8/22 thread as well. Big surprise this morning talking to Ford Chat.
After 2 weeks on no update, the truck is now shipping via convoy from the Port of Richmond to my dealer 65 miles away.
I'll give my dealer a call later today!
Big update on my end.
I went on a backpacking trip over the weekend and after having been without cell coverage since Friday, I called UP for an update on Sunday night... Nothing!
This morning Ford Chat told me, it passed through in Port of Richmond, CA and is now Shipped via convoy...
This IS a support group - for sure :)
No update today BUT that also has an upside to it.. the ETA is still unchanged as well. Still waiting for that "surprise your truck arrived" call from the dealer. Ha ha!
"I show your F-150 is in transit and has arrived at Junction Point(Indiana Harbor Belt...
Same update here.... NO update :)
@TaxmanHog spreadsheet shows that we have a bunch of CA deliveries queued up ready to get delivered starting next week. Looking forward to some exciting updates here shortly!
Apologies for the cross-post - Just posted the following in the 8/15 group, but it answers your question....
My truck was in Blue Island for 10 days. My "update" from today is:
"I am unable to track a live location once a order is in transit. I do show the last location was Blue Island, IL. The...
My truck was in Blue Island for 10 days. My "update" from today is:
"I am unable to track a live location once a order is in transit. I do show the last location was Blue Island, IL. The railcar details aren't available at this time."
For the ETA i got a single date now. "ETA 10/7/22" which is...
Not much actual movement here in the last few days. The truck is in Chicago for the last 1.5 weeks with occasional signs of progress. Talking to a railroad buddy of mine, his insight was to just wait and see and that is exactly what I am doing :)

You seem to be right there we a bunch of carts heading to CA. Not that I fully understand the process, but here is what I pieced together so far...
Left the factory on Canadian National Railways, for that I had a valid rail car number. CNR dropped it off in Riverdale, IL.
Tracking the number on...
This just hit my inbox. VERY exciting!! Didn't expect to be THAT happy about a pic or my truck on the other end of the US. Now it just needs to get here, quickly :))
Nice color choice @KndrTH
Not sure but I assume so. Because I had a rail car number when it was on CNR, and not Ford does not have one for me. If it would be an end-to-end tracking number, is should stay in the system. I am sure someone can confirm / deny.
