Update: After suggestions from “the technicians“ I assured them that when I store the charge head in the base unit I slide it in until I hear an audible click. If I don’t the charge head slides right back out and lays on the ground. But ok.. A few other things, like “plug it in and see if it...
Mine has the “yellow light on the right side“ fault now. I called ford, they had me try to reset it by powering down/ up. I had already tried that. Didn’t change anything. they have “opened a ticket” and will get back to me. It worked well since November…

I have had trouble with trailer lights also. A neighbor has a lightning, we tried his also, same thing, the right side lights don’t work. My truck was in the shop for the wiper recall and I asked them to look at the trailer lights. They said everything was working fine on their diagnostic...
What speed and type of roads were you driving 250-275 miles between charges? My longest was about a month ago. Left my Mom’s place in Maine with 100% charge and drove about 250 miles to near Hartford Ct. Charged with about 40 miles range. All highway, no traffic, speed limits were 65 and 70, I...
Hi all, I’m thinking about driving from Maryland to Maine with my KTM dual sport on a hitch carrier. I’ve never done this with the lightning: what efficiency can I expect on the highway at 65-70?
Anyone have experience with this setup?

Your winter project RV trailer houseboat? You must show that to us! And if that was your winter project, what was the camper? A long weekend project?

I’m on 4.2.4, I still have the problem. It might show 24 hour clock has been selected (if I look at the clock settings) but it will display 12 hour clock.
ford knows, they told me it will get fixed in a future update.

About a week ago the station at Brugh’s mill country store wouldn’t initiate from the EA app. I continued on to Roanoke where I used a painfully slow EVgo charger. Then again to Blacksburg to another slow EVgo charger. On the way back I tried Brugh’s Mill again, but this time I turned Ford plug...
That Wytheville station… showed available in the app the day I planned on charging there, when I found it was closed. And it showed as open for at least 2 weeks afterwards. I emailed them, told them they needed to up their game. I got a reply that are “working diligently to improve the customer...
I hit an EVGO once at 7% (when the EA I had planned on was entirely closed with no warning on the EA app) and it worked fine. It was one of the 50KW stations.

I think it is good that not all Ford dealers are not near a highway exit. When you need to travel in rural areas it will be convenient that dealerships have them available. Demand and government money will cause fast chargers to sprout along interstates. In order for an EV to replace an ICE...
I looked it up in the Fordpass app. It also works when connected to WiFi. That’s must be why it worked when I tried it in my driveway, connected to my home WiFi.

I tried them just to see what was up. They played. I’m assuming they use my phone data. But no real knowledge about it. I didn’t set up the truck as a hotspot.
Kudos on this update, it is a nice change.
One Thing I think they missed: not adding a permanent location with battery charge percent. Maybe next time.
