I had this issue when I first got my lightning a year ago. I think it might've been my fault for hitting the button too many times, but regardless, it wouldn't close due to the latch already being in the closed/locked position. Ford was useless at helping over the phone, other than just sending...
Couldn't tell if you'd already noticed so just to make sure, you can get top-down guidelines on the front if you zoom to the front from the 360 camera arrow you have pictured.
I feel like it's buried too deep to use regularly, but I've actually found it handy in a really tight drive-thru lane...
I hope I'm not bursting any bubbles here, but I was pretty crushed last weekend when camping at a 30-amp RV spot. Come to find out (through experience and on this forum) that the Lightning has a built-in limit when charging at 120V of about 11-12 amps. Charging on a TT-30 (even with an EVSE that...
@TaxmanHog Truck arrived at the dealership yesterday (10/25). Picking it up today (10/26). Thank you!
@Saul Goodman Whenever you get back to O-town, I'm sure yours will be waiting for you too!
As with many others here, mine has been sitting 30 miles away for a week now.
What's worse, I'm pretty sure I can literally see my truck!
The road to the BNSF intermodal facility in Omaha is public access most of the way, so I wasn't doing anything illegal when I went searching. I found all of...
Well now that you say that.. mine was in Kansas City, KS yesterday and arrived in Omaha at 05:29 this morning. I'd wager they ARE on the same train and yours is also in O-town!
@Saul Goodman After the route my railcar took, I'm not sure we're on the same train, but for what it's worth, my latest update this morning has mine in Omaha finally.
I called my dealer to ask what he could see, and his system still shows it in Blue Island, IL (Chicago), but last update was...
Just got off the phone with my dealer and he's showing it still in Flat Rock, MI on the same railcar, but hasn't updated in two days. 🤦♂️ Hoping that's wrong.
Since NS doesn't serve any of Nebraska, I'm worried it's going to Kansas City, THEN it'll swap to UP or BNSF coming to Omaha. There...
I just called the Norfolk Southern automated update line and found out the railcar with my truck "departed Madison, IL" (St Louis area) at roughly 0200 this morning.
What the heck? Why it wouldn't be on the same train as @Saul Goodman coming to Omaha is beyond me.. and NS doesn't seem to...
I just got off the phone with my dealer. They hadn't noticed it switched to "SHIPPED" but said it's assigned to rail also. [TTGX987078] (which i guess is Norfolk Southern?)
He was pretty pessimistic about timing. Thinks it'll be after the ETA of 10/14-10/20.
Their mannequin took the same route...
You beat me to it! Woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. Figured I'd check the status for the umpteenth time. No change on "Reservations and Orders" nor any emails but "Check Order Status" shows SHIPPED, same as you.
I told you we might be on the same truck! :)
I ship refer trucks from...
@Saul Goodman Mine has also moved to "built 9/27" with an ETA to Ashland of 10/14-10/20. Have you seen any movement on the Ford website? We could potentially even be on the same car hauler.
I'm surprised our Oregon and Cali pals on here are estimating shorter transit times considering they're...
Sure! Here it is: 1FT6W1EV5NWG13xxx
If there's something nefarious that can be done with my VIN, let me know so I can delete. I can't think of anything.
My Order Status was "Scheduled for production week of 9/12/2022," but nothing seemed to happen that week. Under Ford's Order Tracker, it updated to "in production" on 9/19 and still shows that date.
@PV2EV I see now my Blend Date was 9/14 and yes to tear tag.
Asked the chat person yesterday for any update on my "in production" date of 9/19. Was told it was on a microchip hold and the estimated "build date" was now 10/24-10/28.
I was pretty bummed since that would mean ship and delivery to the dealer would be even further away.
I just wanted to...
