    Update: Battery arrive and was swapped out, now another failed module - ordering next module and waiting prob another two weeks. There has got to be a better way. Saw @Phineas Magliozzi waited 10 weeks! totally unacceptable!

    Couple updates; 1. still no battery module 2. BEV team has reached out to the dealer asking technician for specific part that was ordered. Gives me not much confidence that the battery module is on the way. Ford needs to step up and ship these to dealers proactively.

    what is that based on? Polling on the forum or from ford? Not discrediting or saying its wrong, just curious where it comes from? Our fleet has 12 lightnings and 3 have had battery modules replaced. two were built on the same timeframe the other was built nearly 10 months later.

    I love the truck but this is starting to be concerning how widespread these issues are. Made contact with @FordMotorCompany and have a case #, hoping this will help things along. the 2.7 ecoboost XL rental is not cutting it for me. :rolleyes:

    Still no battery to the dealer. The dealership says there is no way to track what the ETA of the battery module is to the dealership. Called the BEV team and said they would try and have an answer by MOnday on when I can expect the battery. I am a Aug 22 build (for the tracker).

    Got my truck back on 2/14. $5K to replace quarter panel, bumper and one sensor. Looks good as new. Time line wasn't awful, got hit 12/23, Dealer / body shop pre-ordered parts second week of January, Went into shop 2/2 picked up in 2/14. Three days of that was waiting for insurance to approve...

    Thanks. The repair estimate is super helpful. I am getting the ball rolling with the dealership tomorrow. Looks like a similar repair minus the tailgate piece. Glad your rig is back. Love the color.

    Just happened to me as well! Rear Ended while completely stopped at a red light. Bumper needs total replacement and rear quarter panel has a crease in the wheel well area. Merry Christmas to me.

    I've seen some folks posting about malfunction / reduced power to the point where it has limited driving and repairs were needed. Temp dropped to 22 degrees last night, wasn't plugged in and was 48 degrees late morning when I drove it. Today, my power gauge was reduced to 89, no malfunction...

    Heated steering on my Lightning Lariat also did not work this morning after preconditioning. Updated software.
