No one cares about damage to the environment until renewable energy sources get brought up, and then all of a sudden it's a worry about the birds.
Hasn't changed for ages.
Dang, I've been using the Bosch 6081C HEPA filter the past few years but wondering if I should try to swap it out for the Motorcraft assuming the Bosch speeds are similar to the PureFlow.
I've got an R2 reservation and keep browsing for the R1T Tri motors but just can't stomach spending that kind of coin. Realistically I'll just keep the Lightning around since a base XLT standard range is worth about the same as an expired gallon of milk and anything that comes after it will just...
Quick stats for my '23 XLT:
Picked up around 12/30/2022 with 36 miles
Currently at 49,515 (probably would be at close to 70k if I was still at my old job)
Home charge limit set to 90% with DCFC limited to the 1-2 road trips per year.
SOH per Car Scanner is showing 99.5%
I guess my google machine didn't want to cooperate lol, thanks for sending that over. Wasn't sure if that was a separate lightning specific rebate.
I was hoping they would throw in another $20k rebate for x-plan owners like they had last summer as I have my eyes on 2 Space White Platinums but...
There is some $5500 "Special Owner Loyalty Program" cash rebate right now but I have been unable to find any information on it, nor has the one dealer I reached out to regarding it sent me anything but another ipacket spam message.
Bought these tires about 2500 miles ago, but my wheels offset wouldn't allow me to go full lock so I repurchased them in 275/60/20.
Super quiet, comparable to the Michelin Primacy XCs that came on my 18" wheels. No punctures, patches, plugs, no curbing.
Located in Wilmington DE, but work up...
Swapped out for the proper sized 275/60/20s today. Going to be putting the 275/65/20s up for sale on here shortly if anyone around the mid-atlantic region wants a deal on tires with 2500ish miles on them.
I need to remember where I saw the post but there is a multiplier you need to add to the circumference which could be a culprit if you hadn't already done so? I believe it was: mm*0.968?
I do 3 charging stops in my SR when going from DE to central Maine, no trailer of course. So there isn't an issue.
I've also towed with my SR from Lakewood NJ to DE without needing to stop to charge.
I bought them in 275/65/20 by accident and the range kind of sucks with them. Spending $1300 (all four tires plus mounting) to fix my mistake seems a bit out of touch, though.
Around June there was also an X Plan incentive of $20k which made the Platinum (which come with Max Tow/9.6kW) about $250-$500 cheaper than the Lariat models with the same options.
I had a couple deals worked out but balked when I saw the tax/tags amount and sort of regret it, because I can't...
I'm wondering if that Chicago Auto Show window sticker for the Ramcharger was just some place holder nonsense. I thought the price of the Grand Wagoneer EREV that recently got announced was ~$80k which is right in Lariat/Plat territory on the blue oval side of things.
