It's really not that hard to get to, but you do need to remove the frunk tub to get to it. I put some gorilla glue in the speaker and it quieted down perfectly for a day or two, but then the glue cured more and mostly silenced it. Only my kids can hear it now. Not me.
I replaced my much beloved Transit Van that gave flawless service for nearly 6 years. The $32K trade in was almost unbelievable after I paid $39K back in 2016.
I probably would want mine to look like the F-150 Lightnings on the Ford website Build and Price illustrations which appear perfectly level with the rear lowered. Or raise the front about 2.5" and put Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my stock Lariat wheels.
Thank you very much! I noticed that my truck does not stay connected to wifi. It goes off network after a few minutes of parking it. (I can see and track all the flows on my home network). It comes back up when the truck is ON and I regularly see traffic to Tom Tom, Garmin, Amazon, and Ford...
@Mike G I feel totally left out of the update game. The not knowing and not being able to tell is the worst part, but I don't think I have gotten ANY updates. Would you be so kind to check mine? 1FT6W1EV8PWG01053 Thank you so much!
I pretty much had the same experience as others. My Blue Cruise just suddenly started working after a Electrify America charge. Maybe had about 400 miles on it at the time.
Funny how Motor Trend does not know they did not have an XLT, but a Lariat, and that XLT (or Lariat) is not "top of the model range", but Platinum is. Somebody at M/T just phoning it in from home now?
DING DING DING.. We have a winner! That’s it! The lightning sounds like
Hypnotoad. I am older and with much hearing loss and to me it sounds exactly like Hypnotoad. Younger people probably hear more of the high freqs.
