This thread should be closed. Anyone capable of critical thought can figure out how the brake lights work in a Lightning based on this thread. There's some misinformation, but the source is pretty obvious.
There's nothing to be confused about. The brake pedal always slows the vehicle down. Who cares why the brake pedal slows the vehicle down?
Letting off the accelerator pedal always* slows the vehicle down. The only difference between one pedal mode and two pedal mode is the rate at which the...
The brake lights come on at a certain deceleration rate (1.3m/s2 in EU, manufacturer choice in US) or brake pedal application. If you aren't pressing the brake pedal there isn't a reliable way to determine if friction brakes are in use.
☝️This is the answer. Unless you have some reason other than your comfort level just leave it in auto and adjust the temperature up or down depending on how you feel.
Lightning nearly sold as many units as Mustang. That's not great for the future of Mustang. Farley will certainly keep it around but how long will he be around?
The most likely scenario is that you hit the accelerator pedal with your foot. This is especially likely if you were reaching for something while you were stopped. I did this once in my old ICE F150 while reaching back to assist a child in the back seat. Thankfully I'd put it in park but it hit...
It's gear noise. Race cars use straight cut gears. EVs typically only have one gearset but apparently they use straight cut gears. The noise is the giveaway.
I was always under the impression race cars use straight cut gears instead of helical gears because they are stronger. A Google search...
Honestly, I use both and find them to be more or less the same. Android seems to be a little ahead with features and configurability but not to the point that someone in the Apple ecosystem would switch. I'm sure there are examples of Apple being ahead but I'm more familiar with Android as my...
It's possible it's a back end thing with Google or Apple. In the past, Google has rolled out features for Google Maps in waves. Could be the same thing.
Walk-away locks isn't your problem and the truck doesn't care if the windows are down.
Order an OBD scanner on Amazon and find out what DTCs you are dealing with. Maybe it was a glitch but I'm guessing it wasn't. Someone here might be able to help if you can get the DTCs.
I go back and forth between 20" Lariat wheels and 22" Platinum wheels. There might be a slight ride and economy difference but it's so slight as to not matter. In other words, don't change wheels because you think you'll get a range boost or a nice cushy ride; you'll be disappointed.
