100% the first time, and 98% the next. Both times it happened it was immediately after pulling off my home charger, so that's where I'm not sure if it was a heat issue. Hasn't done it again, but will be charging to 100% on Saturday so we'll see what happens.
Interestingly enough, after over 2 years of ownership, I just had the front motor not work after charging on Friday. Unplugged in the morning, driving and I noticed power was at 56%, switched to the power distribution screen and noticed front wasn't getting any power. Turned it off, then back...
Nothing's changed that I'm aware of. It's basing it off your driving habits, and it's nice and warm out so it's giving you a bigger number. Would be nice though...
So my Hankook tires look exactly the same as yours, mine are at 42k. When you got the Defenders put on, did you need an alignment? I'm curious if that's just how those tires wear (as lots of people on the forum have the same wear), or if these trucks come from the factory with camber or general...
I had mine fixed over 2 years ago and the problem has not reappeared (knock on wood). The water that was leaking in also corroded my switch for the Frunk, so you may want to have them check that out.
Which is exactly why I made the short jumper cable. I want everything on the house to code, because I know in three years I'm not going to remember disconnecting the ground.
So that's my understanding too. Still a risk but very low. I did something similar, I have a transfer switch that was installed by an electrician 5+ years ago for my gas generator. The Pro Power trips out when connected. After reading enough posts and talking to electrical engineers at my...
I'm at 42k on my Hankook Dynapro A/T's and they're about toast. Outer edges have been worn on all 4 tires since 20k but center tread was still fine and passed inspection at 36k. Time to order some Michelins.
There's a water drain path that runs behind the grill, which is how the water gets into the lights in the Frunk. That same path runs close to the back of the Frunk button, and if not sealed properly, and the water doesn't drain completely, can cause corrosion on the button and stop it from...
There's a few threads on this if you search. Bad seal on the lights, I had mine replaced. Make sure they check the frunk switch also, because that same water that gets in the lights can corrode the frunk switch if it's not draining out.
I'm at 40k miles on my Hankook's in a little over 2 years. The outer edges have been worn since 25k miles, but the center tread has been fine. All 4 tires have worn the exact same way, so either the trucks are shipped with goofy camber, or the tires just wear that way. I figure I'll be getting...
So just from a planning perspective I agree completely. ABRP seems to give you a time of about 10% less than what Google Maps gives you, and Google Maps is usually spot on as you said. Maybe it'll get more accurate in time, but for now I'll use the Google time if I need to be somewhere on time.
That's pretty low. I'm at lifetime 2.2 m/kwh after 2 years of driving and 40,000. I'll see 1.4 if I'm doing 80 mph into a headwind, but that's not normal. It starts dropping a lot at speeds over 70 mph. Keep the tires inflated and speed down, and keep your climate control in check. 1.4...
Where are you in PA? I know the center of the state use to be bad, but I feel with the Tesla access now most issues have gone away. What's your mi/kw when towing? Just surprised this is necessary, at least in my experience.
I can confirm this works. I had a 6 foot cable made where the ground isn't connected and it works now with my old transfer switch. I lost power this weekend and was able to confirm operation, as before I would get the ground fault on the truck.
2 years, 37,000 miles and just went through inspection. All 4 corners were at 8mm. In PA with lots of salt and cinders on the road all winter. Agree with a lot of people on here that something doesn't sound right.
Funny, I don't doubt your personal experience, but in PA during the winter they brine and salt the hell out of our roads (I would think Michigan would be the same). If my truck or my wife's mach-e sits for a few days, the brakes will grind at the end as you stop normally. I've used the Neutral...
