I pay the monthly bill through AT&T to have Wifi in my Lightning. However if I use Apple Carplay, I can't use the Wifi. My phone won't connect and my kids' tablets won't connect. Am I doing something wrong or does Carplay disable the truck's Wifi?
I use ABPR, the free version. Have you tried the subscription one? And if so, how is the interface and how accurate is it? I have thought about trying it, but haven't talked to anyone that's used the pay version.
Did Ford and Electrify America have a falling out? When I bought my truck, it almost always routed me to Electrify America charges on trips. This was likely due to their Oval partnership, but in truth, they really were the best chargers for trips. Now going on the exact same routes, it's like my...
I tried setting our current location as a charging location. That didn’t work. It won’t even let me push charge to 100%. I am including a screenshot.
We are on vacation and I tried plugging up my truck to a good old fashion 120V plug with an extension cord. I can’t get it to go past 70% charge. It says I need to go to a charge station to go further. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there someway to get past 70%?
I got a message that there is a new system update for my Lightning. I chose the option to schedule it overnight. However it didn't do it. Then I tried the "Update Now" option, and again, it had an error. Any ideas what's going on or what I'm doing wrong?
That's what I'm trying to find out. I literally don't know anything about any companies and I can't find much when I try to google. Is there somewhere to find different companies and compare them? Or is there one you recommend? Do I need to sign up with multiple companies? And what's wrong with...
I recently got a 22' Lightning and am loving it, but haven't been on a road trip yet and have only used my home charger. I am planning an upcoming trip to the inlaws and was wondering about using public chargers. And before we start, I got it "used" from the dealer, so I didn't get the free...
I got it about a month ago, but still trying to figure things out and finally came here to ask for advice. No, the blue cruise has never worked. (assuming I'm supposed to be able to let go of the steering wheel like in the video)
Thanks, wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy. It seems to already work on the Mach E Mustang. Not sure why it doesn't for the Lightning. Or at the very least I wish they would make the app have a widget so it's easier to access on my phone.
I just got my 22 Lightning and can't get Blue Cruise to work. It says it's on, but then after several seconds after I let go of the wheel, it tells me to grab the wheel.
I'm not very electric savvy, do you know if the fuse setup is the same for the 22?
I'm using my phone as a FOB so I don't have to use the "key". My truck unlocks automatically when I come up, but I can't figure out how to get it to automatically lock when I walk away from my truck. I can't find instructions in the online manual. And I even tried watching videos. They show...
I downloaded the manual from the ford website, but still didn't get great answers. It says to plug in to maintain maximum voltage. What does that mean, so the battery doesn't slowly drain in my garage when not in use?
So to the crux of my question, is there any reason I "should" plug in my car...
I have a new Lightning and am trying to figure out the best way to charge and answers on Google are all over the place.
It "seems" most agree that you should only charge to ~80% on a regular basis unless you are planning a longer drive that needs the entire battery. Do yall agree?
I've seen...
I got everything set up and am loving my Lightning. Just wanted to say thanks again for all the help and responses.
We ended setting the charger up at 64A and it charges at about 27.7 miles per hour charged, which works just fine.
