That's the only spot?! NICE!!!! Great find!
I had "fixed" it a while ago but just lubing EVERYWHERE hahaha. It took a lot of time but was effective.
It's slowly coming back and I've been putting off doing the fix again because it's a pain. I'll try just hitting this spot and see if it works...
Has anyone gone ahead and attempted this like the ICE models by adding everything to a base model Pro without the tow tech pack yet? Still on my wish list just not confident enough to be the first.
I wanted to do the same but it isn’t straight forward. It’s probably worth its own thread. My very basic understanding is you need the 360 and the more advanced ipma.
Ah, yes. Lane Centering is different. I do not think you can have that without having the ACC.
Are you going to be installing the radar module and running the wires from the drivers side IPMA directly to it?
Which truck do you have? I have a base model pro-literally zero options. It has Lane Keep Assist as standard, no FORscan changes required. It does only use the camera-same as the precollison assist.
hi, I just responded to you in your other thread. I 100% have the ipma module as you should too. In addition since my last comment I also verified that the PSCM module also appearad.
I went through and backed up all on my modules one by one. Here’s a screenshot of the ones I backed up.
Hi, you have a base 23 pro? I also have the same (no options, no wires).
what you’re saying is very strange. You should have an IPMA showing on forscan. I do. Your vehicle has an IPMA module in it. This is what houses the front facing camera in the windshield for collision warnings and lane...
I think what needs to be done based on reading the ICE F-150 thread is wire the new radar module directly to the module at the drivers side. You basically skip needing to route it through the passenger kick well. At least that is my understanding but someone more experienced than me probably...
Yeah :( Thats what I thought. What a bummer. Thanks for confirming. Seems like it won't be possible for me to add it.
Thanks again.
EDIT: I've read through a portion of this thread: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/adding-co-pilot-assist-2-0-with-forscan.5028/ and it seems that people...
Ha! No, no I'm not sure. This is what I saw that looked like the other images but seemed to be missing the wires. This is through the little view in the access panel so it's certainly possible I was looking at the wrong one.
