I have an open and active CSP that was sent to me by mail but isn't reflected in my online Ford Account. Should I call to request to have this detail synced?
Also, where are you guys seeing CSPs on FordPass?
Yeah I got that e-mail as well. I have an NACS extension cord in my cart but thought I'd wait. The copy on the product page is still showing a variable length of 6' to 9'. I'd hope that I'd be able to back the truck into charging stalls with whatever cord length they have available.
Could that DCFC interlock be used as a physical lock for J1772 and CCS1? I would think that they unlock button / stop DC charging could have logic in place to only work if the vehicle is unlocked or PAAK is present.
For 2024, the TPMS run on 413mHz. Also, a good shop will typically provide you with the sensors and hardware.
I'm running LT3s on my truck and while I haven't received snow yet they seem to be really nice tires. Despite being a 10-ply, the ride hasn't been harsh as some people have indicated.
I want these but I'm also in Canada.
2024 running boards aren't lit and I really want to change that. Does anyone know if only the light element side is available for sale from Ford?
I received the 10.1.1 update on my truck yesterday afternoon and earlier today I drove around to run some errands. With FordPass on Android, I've noticed the interoperability between the truck and PAAK seems to have improved with respect to connectivity and consistency. This includes:
-...
That's interesting because I've seen from vehicles from other OEMs where one-button up/down is present for the front and not the rear, but when actuated both the front and rear move at the same rate.
I think a better idea would be:
- Have a stop charger session / unlock DCFC connector on the UI
- Have a configurable setting to define what can stop charge sessions and unlock the charge connector - physical button in charge area; UI main screen; Ford Pass - at least 1 method must be selected...
Yeah I also had my first V4 experience last weekend on the way back to Toronto from NYC. It's definitely nice to not have to block 2 charge spots but I would still prefer to back into the stall.
There were reports that MagicDock has been disabled across the board but for reasons still unknown...
More of an observation or quirk rather than a feature:
The front driver and passenger powered windows roll down and up at a much faster rate than the rear driver-passenger windows.
Is this common across all F150s and generations or unique to Lightning? Is this by design or is it reflective of...
Great wheels!!! Is that the removable outer ring that protects the rim from curb / rock rash?
I'm thinking of getting their new Xplorer wheels which are 17" - hope they fit.
Underneath the charge pad, there is at least 1 fan that automatically turns on whenever a charging session is initiated. The charge pad has small holes for the air to be pushed through along with square channels for airflow along the back surface of the phone.
Mine works fine on my 2024. Interestingly it helps to keep the phone cool when charging by having fans automatically turn on underneath the charging pad.
The only thing I don't like is the ergonomics of the system - can only charge 1 phone at a time, is sideways, and awkward to place phone on...
I just received a letter from Ford dated 2024-09-24 for 24B48 on my 2024 Lightning Platinum.
I took delivery of the truck in late July 2024 and for a brief period, the scheduled charging function was working for a while until it was starting and continuing charging sessions outside of the...
Nice!!! I hope this gets resolved and we get those climate controls.
Also, as I had mentioned about, this is the Tweet with the video that shows it working:
I have a 2024 Platinum and am on V5.5.0 of Ford Pass on Android. I have the same lack of functionality as you do.
Someone on X has the app controls you mentioned. They have a 2022 or 2023 and are on iOS.
Would be great to understand what's going on here.
