I decided to see what updates were waiting for me and had my VIN run (Shoutout to @rugedraw!) and found that there were almost a dozen that my 23 Lariat had not yet received. I decided to go the mongoose/FDRS route, and ordered the mongoose, a forscan cable, and a 75 amp charger.

Took delivery of a Mongoose and OBDLink cable last week before the 1.4 OTA updates started flowing and rugedraw was gracious enough to provide me with an update list based on my VIN.
Do I do the FDRS updates first, enable through FORscan, or do I need to get the higher level battery minder...

While at my dealer this morning, I asked if they could do the updates so that I could receive Blue Cruise 1.4. The service rep said that Ford does not pay them to do these updates, so I would have to schedule a separate time to have them do updates that were not under...
I put a deposit on one to hold a spot.
Three times in the last year I have had to rent vehicles instead of taking my lightning because there were no level 2 or above chargers where I was going (Maine) and I did not have enough range to to a round trip on a single charge... Not to mention that...
I have had mine to the dealer twice. The first time they told me that they could not make any updates to the truck because Ford servers only do updates Monday thru Thursdays!?!
I quickly realized that my truck was in more peril taking it to the dealership then trying to figure it out on my own...
Charging the 12v had no effect except it no longer comes up with a failure message. Oh, and now the display randomly scrolls through the recently used apps.
This update has failed for the last couple of weeks. Anyone else experiencing failed update? Above replies came in while typing... going to try the battery.
Used my truck today and put it on the charger this afternoon. I pulled up Fordpass a little while later and noticed that it was showing yesterday's information.
Tried removing charge locations (based on something I found here), then deled and reinstalled Fordpass app.
Still shows yesterday's...
