I lost visibility of my software version prior to 5.22.0, just updated to current and it still doesn’t show. Assumed they 86’d it from the app like some previous features that we all actually used.
I’ve still got quite a few miles left on my 22 Platinum’s original tires but have been really leaning towards getting these when it’s time to replace

I’ve had no issues with the grabbers and do have concerns...
The B&O system sucks, many of us have upgraded that as it leaves a lot to be desired.
The sound system in 2020 Ranger Lariat was definitely better than my 2022 Lightning Platinum.
Exactly, my home has 3.35kwh capacity from its 7 panels. It’s just not efficient enough at the size and weight to be used in an extender capacity. Not yet at least.
3kw would give you about 6 miles of range at 2.1 mi/kw. But I said 3kwh, meaning it would charge up to 3kwh throughout the day, which would give you between 45-65 miles of range if you capture 10-12hrs of sunlight with the anticipation you don’t always get a full 3kwh charge from them.
The better application of extending range is something you see on electric test cars and what some people have done to their trailers/campers… roof top solar panels. Problem is getting a small surface area of panels to bring around 3kwh for it to really be helpful.
Live in San Diego, had my Platinum for almost three years and 19k miles now. Total average is 2.1kW/mi. Freeway driving absolutely destroys your range. This is not an aerodynamic design by any means, we are driving an electric brick around. I find efficiency drops once you exceed 60...
Have had my 2022 platinum since 10/2022. The app has had some changes over the years. Some for the worse, not many for the better. App responsiveness is honestly the worst of any app on my phone. Remote start takes up to a minute and most times you have to try multiple times for it to take...
I got a 22 platinum in in October 22. The only thing I have an issue with like you mentioned in the price adjustment. I traded in my 19 Ranger Lariat FX4 that I had done some mods on. Loved that truck, especially in the mountains. But I wanted the bigger cabin space for my growing family. I...
Has been an issue in 2022 lightning platinum w sound package and my ladies 21 Mach E for as long as we have had them. We both have iPhones.
Bluetooth and directly plugging in for connection to CarPlay both create this issue. The only solution I have had to overcome it is to stop the truck...
Very smart to do with that horrible power grid in Texas. I used to have quite a few employees in Texas at my last company and they would all experience power outages multiple times per year without fail.
We rarely have to pay to charge my Lightning platinum and my ladies Mach- E and when we do...
I quit using Apple Maps about a month ago. Its nav was constantly taking me on longer routes and the charging recs were just okay. Google maps works so much better it’s worth not having the battery guessometer and finding charging as you need it.
And even one further I recently stoped using Apple Maps through car play due to its garbage traffic updates consistently trying to put in me in worse travel time situations. I enjoyed seeing battery percentage with my trips through Apple Maps but Google maps just works so much better it’s not...
Yup, and assuming you don’t need to get to a full charge to get to a charging station on your way back you’d probably be fine. Unless you are camping for one night, which doesn’t make for that fun of a camping trip anyways.
How important is your charging need at the campsite? Are you towing a trailer or planning on tent camping at an RV spot just to charge? In a worst case scenario you could just trickle charge while you camp for a few days and that should be enough to at least get you back to civilization for a...
6+ months later and we finally received our Fast Charging Adapters for my 2022 Platinum and my ladies 2021 Mach-E. Looks like they are catching up on production.
