After 156 days (5 months) from date of purchase and many follow-up emails + texts, I finally have my price protection check in hand from the dealer. I'm relieved and happy. Dealer even refunded me the overpaid taxes. Holy moly that was a painful process.
Thanks for the part number for the clips. I'm ok with cutting the holes... are there instructions somewhere for that? It's not clear to me where exactly to cut and how big since it has 2 posts.
@Ford Motor Company I totally agree. All my other cars have this audible alert (often with an on/off user option). The little blinking light doesn't cut it for a good BLIS system. It's a simple software fix... please prioritize this safety feature!
Can you share with me the language and where in the contract? I'm also in the bay area and having trouble getting this done with my dealer. I don't mind floating the price protection, but I want something in writing that the dealer will send me the price protection funds once (if) Ford pays them.
