Francis chargers are awful. The 200kW Francis charger in Enid has been down for well over a year and most of the towns around me that have chargers are 50kW or the cable coolers are broken so they only charge at 33kW. So bad.
If I know a storm is coming in I just throw an old towel over the charge port and door. Everything else just de-thaw as you would any other vehicle. Use the departure schedule to start defrosting before you're set to leave and you should have minimal manual clearing to do.
Brilliant...I wonder if any one else's safety might also be compromised? You know, other people on the roadway, sidewalks....We can all let you choose for us too!
You can honestly say the gap in the skid plate directly behind the front tire that exposes a fragile component has nothing to do with design? We should also define "off-roading"...Do you think driving down a grated gravel road is equivalent to driving up Hell's Revenge?
My thinking is, if my...
Agreed, I don't see how this would be an expensive modification to the current skid plate. This doesn't need to bear the weight of the vehicle, just deflect random debris.
Probably an inch diameter. I of course didn't get a pic of it. It's about an hour away on the side of the road. I've though about driving back out there to grab it. I'm going to modify that skid plate before letting it hit dirt again after this is all over that's for sure.
