  1. Lift/Level, have you re-aligned your cruise control module?

Lariat 502A hard loaded. 2” Readylift level. My adaptive/intelligent cruise control module does not need leveling. 5 months with my truck.
  2. Who actually uses a weight distributing hitch?

    Wrong……but it’s your money…. and truck
  3. Who actually uses a weight distributing hitch?

Who actually uses a weight distributing hitch? Everyone that tries to tow a trailer with a truck that isn’t actually large/strong enough to tow said trailer. It’s a fix for a problem that’s become all too common place….. like it’s the way it’s should be….it’s not.
  4. Backcountry ready

Looks like a nice little trailer but nowhere close to a trailer like the Opus….. Yes, the Black Series is an awesome build. Opus has them beat quality-wise and the Blacks are considerably higher priced. Both are very good purpose built trailers. You could pull either through/over some really...
  5. Backcountry ready

Looks like a nice little trailer but nowhere close to a trailer like an Opus…… very different build and purpose. All of the manufactures are building small trailers, putting larger tires on them and calling them “off-road” capable…..not hardly.
  6. Backcountry ready

I’ve not used this particular one but many like it. These and the TAXA Mantis are our favorites for personal use. the Opus weighs 4900lbs empty so close to 5800lbs loaded the way we camp with 66gals of water on board. The truck pulls it great. Mileage is +/- 10mpg on an average trip. Big Bend is...

  11. OEM Rim Weights

Just the wheel....Goodyear Wrangler 275/65/18 SL weighs 40lbs. Just under 70lbs for the tire and wheel.
  12. OEM Rim Weights

If you have the "chrome-like" PVD 18"X7.5" aluminum wheels they weigh right at 30lbs each.
  13. Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

The chrome Lariat(and maybe XLT) wheel is indeed a 18X7.5. The machined aluminum is 8.5 wide. The 7.5” wheel came on my Lariat, Chrome Pkg, FX4.
  14. Airlift vs RAS

    I bought the HD.
  15. How to reset TPMS?

Can someone direct me to instructions on resetting the TPMS on my 2021 F150 please. I'm re-installing my original wheels and tires with the original TMPS sensors in the tires. I have the Motorcraft tool. Thanks Never mind....found the reset instructions in the owners manual.
  16. Airlift vs RAS

I have a 2” puck. With the RAS set with the black spacer I have right at a 1 3/4” rake empty. With my trailer hooked up(600lb tongue weight and 200lbs of gear in the bed) I still have 3/4” rake. Cornering stability is greatly improved both loaded and unloaded. So yes, the RAS helps with sag.
  17. Factory Wheels with Aftermarket Tire Thread

Use this site to make sure the tires you consider are ok on the 7.5” rim…… https://tiresize.com/chart/ Chain stores like Discount Tire will not mount tires on wheels outside of these width parameters.
  18. Airlift vs RAS

I've had several sets of Airlift and Firestone "bags" and they've worked well. On this truck, I decided to try the Roadmaster Active Suspension and I'm sooo glad I did! They work great and are much smoother. Super easy install also.
  19. E Rated tire? or overkill?

Well, I’m not near as knowledgeable about everything as Dave is, but I do know about our trucks and tires. I have 3 sets of tires and wheels for my truck: The original Lariat chrome 18” wheels with Wranglers…..SL rated…..providing awesome fuel economy and comfort. Next, 17” Raptor beadlocks...
  20. Dealer stopped installing Leveling Kits because customers are having issues with their Copilot / sensors

First I've heard of any issues. My dealer installs them on 99% of the 4X4 F150s they sell.
