My Ford Mobile Charger started overheating on my 14-50 receptacle and is now only charging at 4 kW. Could it be the outlet? I have been taking the charger with me, in case I need it in on the road, in an emergency. Can the repeated plugging the cord in and out have just worn the outlet out?

My wife is OK with our Lightning but she won't drive it. It is just too big for her. She loves her Mini Cooper, and plans to get an EV Mini when an all wheel drive version is available.

I'm in Boone, NC too. I have a dark blue Lariat. I've seen a couple of locals, a black Platinum and a white Lariat. Driving through, a black Lariat and a white Pro. And a few at charge stations on our rare long distance trips.

I bought my 2023 Lightning Lariat on June 17, 2023. As far as I can tell, I have never received any updates. I did not subscribe to the AT&T cell service on the truck, but it is hooked up to the house WiFi.

I get it, thanks. As long as the vehicle has the updates turned on, I won't worry about what the Ford Pass app shows.

Thanks, Ford Pass says to use Sync to turn auto updates on. I do not see any way to turn it on in the Pass app. Sorry about the double pics and no words, new at this...
