I actually had cat box smell after a cat pissed on the rear floor. No amount of cleaning oxy clean etc helped. But I bought a cheap air ionizer from Amazon and let it run for 6 hours with the truck on recirculation. THAT did the trick. Been a year and that smell has not returned.
Thanks. Yeah, reboot got phone audio back. Still no blinker clicks or start up noises. Cross traffic alert noises sound like they are coming from a tiny speaker under the steering wheel now.
I've got the same(similar?) problem. No blinker clicks. No startup sound, Sound menu greyed out.
This started happening recently after an update.
@ScottC -did you get this resolvged?
I have FDRS working with a pass-through cable, and am able to update (all but the BCM). Just curious about this USB stick update method you mention. Is there an option or something in FDRS to tell it to place the files on the USB? (I have a blank formatted USB in my PC FWIW).
Also, anyone...
Thanks for the psa. On a slightly related note, the sensor that is supposed to reverse the gate upon obstruction detection is not so great. I had a rock stuck to the gate by mud and the gate closed, the rock stuck and crushed the reverse light lens. Ugh...
Bottom line, make sure there are no...
Yup, sounds like mine, and I'm in the same boat as you - "how do I tell if Ford labeled it a "Demo" truck. Slightly off topic, Are all Lightnings painted white under the hood/frunk?
They are sort of hit and miss - there are a lot of them though - so don't fret - just be sure you can roll to an alternate if you find one not working. My biggest complaint is not that there is physical damage to a given charger, but that the ALL the chargers are down in a given location due...
Thread hijack alert: I have an inkling as to what the term "mannequin" means in this context, but can someone point me to a clear definition? I have a '22 which I bought gently used from a dealer - I thought it was a dealer demo car, or maybe the dealer owner's car or something, but now...
Here's to what you're saying comes to fruition - but I hoping for 3rd party packs, or even manufacturer replacement packs to become affordable is fairy dust. Just in the way a economy works, it'll be more cost effective to replace the whole vehicle than to replace a battery. I learned this with...
I used the Adarac for exactly your use-case - compat with bet covers too. Pretty happy with it - 10 minutes easy on and off. you can get discounts on it at various shopping sites.
But here's a list of others that might be to your liking...
Yeah, me too, but my new daily route takes me through some more congested areas with stop and go traffic with people who should not be allowed to drive (maybe that's me :) ).
Maybe I should just forget the on pedal and auto hold features and pretend I'm driving an automatic ICE - that way...
Regardless of how close the other vehicle in front of you is - the expectation is that once the truck is perceived to be "stopped" by me, the driver, and I let up on the brake, and the vehicle rolls forward UNEXPECTEDLY, there's no knowing how far it will go - yeah, it's "only" 3 inches, but...
Well, that sounds like the behavior. Why do I suck at describing things lately? Anyway you nailed it.
Is it "Normal"? I don't think so.
Is it "New"? Yeah, this is something new in the past few months for sure - thought it might be cold/winter related, but did not have this behavior...
Yeah - LOL - I hear ya - I'll be mindful - I've got 28K racked up on this truck and over 200K on other EV's - I'll _START_ with that upfront as an offensive defense :)
