I had two issues. Did not have the current firmware on charger. Ford support got on line and corrected this. Also I left cord partially wrapped around unit. Once I stopped leaving cord wrapped around charger I only had one overheating failure in past month when garage was 92!

I have lost track of how many times this has failed. Never had an issue with any other updates. Kept phone and fob on other side of house, have driven truck to charge 12v battery. Tried manual updates. Watched screen from outside of truck, it starts, then 3-4 minutes later screen goes blank and...
