My driveway has a 2 degree incline and it never auto applies the parking brake. It makes a very annoying lurch backwards if you don't apply the parking brake manually. I personally would like to have the parking brake applied every time the truck is parked because why not?

Nothing wrong with the lever but a auto parking brake feature is something I have on every other vehicle so I was hoping my 60K truck would be able to do it also.

My '22 had issues with the heating being weak and this might have been the culprit.

You are probably right and I think it's just a bad battery module. But coming from a Mach E, this same error was seen with the powertrain malfunction notification so that's why I thought maybe the BECM could be problematic as well.

Update 2: The service tech cleared all the codes and updated all modules on the truck and gave it back on 10/5/23. Immediately the next day I got a service required soon message with only 50% power. I took the truck back in on 10/6/23 and the tech was finally able to diagnose it today 10/9/23...

Yeah but to get a 2024 you would probably be waiting over 10 months. Some people don't want to wait or need the truck right now that's why they're paying the premium
