  1. Passive entry stopped working

Mine came back from the dealer after an update with the door unlock function disarmed as described and also the cruise control activating the lane keeping as well. Which I hate.
  2. OTA Update Question

Mine spent over 6 hours at the dealership getting updates; I had a couple of gremlins which apparently are resolved with the updates. The tech said he couldn't understand why Ford requires the truck in the shop rather than OTA and he's in the dark what will happen once the truck is out of...
  3. What do you call / name your Lightning?

    My fricken huge blue F-150.
  4. Hidden details

    Didn’t notice it as I’m Canadian. 😀
  5. MAX TRAILER TOW PACKAGE if not planning to tow?

I bought my XLT ER off the lot with max tow. It had been a special order which had been cancelled. Seems to be a sweet spot for a specification for a "business" truck by an owner / operator. I think it probably would enhance its resale although I'm not planning to sell. Only downside so far it...
  6. Pesky Frunk Inner Trim Panel Fasteners, my solution

I lost most of these clips when I had to charge the 12v battery to get it to shut up about the low battery level. Module replaced so that should go away but I'm annoyed that Ford would have such a crappy way of securing a panel that clearly has to be removed for a simple maintenance issue...
  7. Martin Rebuilds an F-150 Lightning

Oh great. Something else to worry about. Hopefully NMT. (Not my truck)
  8. Anything new in the mudflap department?

Yes the pinging of gravel on my new truck wasn't a noise I was happy with! Also the gravel ended up on the running boards and started to scratch them up when you step out. Driving in our first real snow fall here in Nova Scotia tomorrow so I'll see if i screwed everything on properly!
  9. Anything new in the mudflap department?

No. I think you have been unlucky. There's some clear plastic strips which are unclear as to how they fit in the instructions' I think they go between the rear metal stays and the bodywork to prevent galvanic corrosion.
  10. Anything new in the mudflap department?

I'm in Canada and just ordered from Eastgate Ford Parts in Hamilton Ontario. They were $60 per pair instead of $75. Postage was $33 so that ate this discount. The local dealership wanted to charge $115 to include fitting per pair...... Hopefully this will keep the grit off the running boards...
  11. F-150 Lightning Launching in Switzerland Next Month with 127,000 CHF Pricing

I think that it's a smart move for Ford as there's a lot of "grey" imports of unusual US vehicles into Switzerland. Stuff like the big minivans and other US-style vehicles that just aren't made by the European manufacturers there. Could be a challenge to park but our apartment in Basel had a '57...
  12. 2024 F-150 Lightning Order Guide & Pricing List (MSRP/Invoice)

Picked up my 2023 XLT ER last Monday and was irritated that the 2024 was getting a heat exchanger. Now feeling smug with my TWO CHARGERS! Yay!
