How heavy of a trailer are you towing? Tongue weight and how the trailer is loaded makes a huge difference. I always use the WD Hitch. It should bring the rear end up very close to level even with the leveling kit, but it again depends on the trailer and tongue weight. Don't worry about the life...
I would not order/own a truck without them.
No glare from behind since they autotint.
Push on button at the garage or drive through or car wash and they fold easily.
GREAT vision even without towing and best of all..... they make it look like a truck and not a mall crawler.
Just my thoughts.
That is the one I saw on my search. The thing I do not like is how it mounts to the top of the bumper cover......Hopeing for one that is more integrated.
Took some time to try my old step today. I had to enlarge the holes for the bolts and that was about it. Fits perfect. The previous generation had a smaller bumper bolt. That seems like the only thing. Took awhile using a step bit but I enlarged just a bit and bolted it on. That just saved me...
Anyone have or know of a nice LED light bar that fits within the grill. A one inch curved??? Hopefully I can get some input before ordering blind.
Thanks in advance for any help given.
Truxedo low pro15. I have already had a few compliments on the look of the fabric, Almost looks like a tweed fabric. This is my 4th cover on as many trucks and my favorite so far.
Well I liked them enough to order a set. Getting tired of needing to "hop" into the truck after the leveling kit install last week. Going from chrome step tubes on my '15 to these blank ones on my 21. Should be a nice change. We will see how they look on the red truck.
I measured mine before and after. At 20 feet there was about a 7 inch difference. I can't imaging how high they would be at a few blocks. Easily adjusted back down.
Did you all know that at low speeds, with your high beams on, when you turn the foglamp on that side illuminates? I was working my way around a bunch of potholes in the rain the other night. Going slow, dirt road, muddy etc....and I noticed what appeared to be a flashing going on up front. I...
A buddy and I did mine last night. Directions are good. I think it said 2.5 hours. Ours was closer to 3. Had to wrestle the lower control arms back into place which added just a bit of time. We have a lift that helped a lot (small lift, raises entire truck just high enough). You need some...
After the sun hit it recently, It worked out the few little wrinkles near the bulkhead. After a week I am totally thrilled. Better than the low pro by truxedo. Worth the extra few $$.
Sitting around tonight reading the forum when I remembered my Tonneau cover arrived today....so.....mix a whiskey sour and head to the garage. This is my install and review of the Truxedo ProX15. Soft roll up cover. My last truck I also ran a Truxedo but it was the low pro model. Not the...
So there is a gap between it and the hood? My last one was tight to the hood. Is it sturdy? Thanks for the photos...greatly appreciate it!!Nice truck by the way.
I apologize if there is a thread on this already, I searched but did not come up with one. Kinda thought there would be but maybe its me that just couldn't find it. Anyway.
Anyone installed a hood "bug" deflector yet? Do they make one that fits the 21's yet? Any advise and photos would be...
