2024 lightnings max out at 48A level 2 charging.
The ford charge station pro is an 80A charger. You will not be able to fully utilize it. Its a waste of money for you. Unless you plan on purchasing the home backup solution (which most people on this forum will advise against) then it makes no...
Most kitchen appliances use 1.5kw. That's a kettle, toaster oven, microwave, air fryer, etc. They'll all be about 1.5kw.
That means you'll likely overload it running just two kitchen appliances at a time.
All of the outlets can't be used with the truck off unfortunately.
One of the most...
Its one inverter feeding the same outlets everywhere on the base model.
The propower adds on a 2nd inverter at 7.2kw for the 9.6kw total. That second inverter is a split phase inverter and is required for the 240v bed outlet.
Order #90009937 just arrived.
It's the Telsa model, not the lectron model like the photos above.
Took 9 months after placing the order on the day it was announced around 8:30am PST.
The Carlinkit (and most of these boxes, maybe all of them) use the Apple Carplay protocol for talking to the vehicle display. Apple Carplay does not support multitouch input. You can double tap to zoom in maps with one finger input like this.
What temperature was it? How long was your stop before you drove home? Was it uphill on the way back? I've noticed my range drops off quickly at the start of my trip and then levels off. I'm guessing its conditioning the battery to the right temperature.
I also don't think the state of charge...
I left a bit more detail here.
I'm not sure how its different from the Binize, but its got better specs and is from a bigger vendor. But I'm pretty sure these are all very similar and run the same software.
As far as how i like it. Its good. Still using it. Went on holiday and used it on the...
I'm in the lower mainland. I purchased at a dealer in Surrey, BC. Because I knew someone who worked there in some capacity. I'm not sure that was the right choice.
The salesman I was dealing with was great. But my experience went down-hill dealing with financing. I felt I was being pushed...
I have a 14-50 installed next to my fcsp. There are quite a few here that did that.
I don't really use it as a backup. Initially I had it installed to be able to power welders. But since then the misses bought an ev, so now we can both charge at the same time.
I don't think you need it as a...
I took the plunge and bought a portable firdge for road trips and camping.
To add it to the list of fridges people have tried before with the lighting:
Iceco APL55 dual zone fridge/freezer.
Its unfortunately too tall to fit in the frunk. But it does fit in the truck bed underneath a flush...
Same here. Weekly updates for a few months until I got the supercharger plug and charge update on 3/21 and nothing since.
I'm still waiting for the update that fixes the heated steering wheel not working after pre-conditioning. This one drives me nuts semi-daily.
Also I want the update with...
There's a thread about this in the F150 lightning facebook group too. I also got this message.
Its funny in a bit of a sad way that the software experience around updates is this way.
If we're warned some software is out of date, we'd like to know how to fix it. Can we push an "ok update...
It arrived. Initial impressions are possive. Video/Audio quality is good. Latency is "ok" maybe 1/3s or so on touch input.
Apps work. Its cool. I do wonder how much of my personal info is being shared with China with something like this. But that's the price you pay for it. I bet you its phoning...
