Hold onto it for at least 5 years, then maybe, trade up to the latest technology. I'll be about 75 at that time, so my next one could be my last.. I'll decide very carefully.
Its been great, except when some mice ate the wiring harnesses and they had to remove the interior, and replace the carpeting and wiring harness. $8500. My insurance paid minus the $250 deductible.
Other than that, I love it! Did you get another Lightning?
OH BY THE WAY... When they took our...
Interesting. While looking to print a sticker for my Ford Lightning, I found this post with my VIN. I purchased this Lightning for $58k last August as part of Ford's RAV program. It had 21,000+ miles on it. Makes me wonder how much the original owner actually paid for it.
I think it did come...
Ok everyone. After going through everything with Ford Customer Service, they got IT involved. It appears that the previous owner still had a balance or something. They fixed the data. I was able to log into connected services finally, then reserve my Tesla adapter. EST delivery is September! Ugh.
I can't get to the connected services page at all. It throws the error
Ok, things to remember:
1. I cannot get into Connected Services at all
2. I'm not yet registered in the Blue Oval Network, which is what I'm trying to do before I can get the adapter
Here's what I tried...
Ok, tried it. Same result.
Weird, and frustrating.
I even tried viewing the page source to see if I could find a link that goes directly to the Blue Oval Sign up page without going through the Connected Devices dashboard.
Yeah, I tried all that on my Laptop as well. Just tried again, and getting the same error message as I do on my app, and tablet.
It happens after I click on Connected Services, while it's trying to populate the page with all the services options. I see them, but it errors out before the button...
Still have not been able to reserve the adapter. Keep getting an OOPS error message going into connected services from my Ford Pass app, or from the web, after logging in. Anytime, day or night
I called customer support and they said I needed to join the Blue Oval network. I thought I had, but...
I live on a gravel road, and haul about 6000lbs of water every few weeks. I've had a couple of flats. My tire guy says I should replace my tires with 10 plys. I would also like a more aggressive tread.
Has anyone here done this, and what is the effect on mi/kwh or total range?
Robert
Ok, I went with Tuxmat, in spite of the one caveat. They look to have very good coverage, and not all of the others had the option for the lay flat toolbox under the rear seats, which mine has.
Kinda pricey, but less than some of the others.
Thanks everyone for your input!
