And yet they didnāt open their network to others until Ford pushed them to do it, which they could have done exactly like they have now with an adapter.
There is a difference between Tesla opening the standard and open their superchargers. While I think that was always the goal to open the supercharger network, I donāt think Tesla would have done as soon as they did without Ford.
Early ā23s are receiving updates with the ā22s, I think the cut off is a manufacturing date in June/July 2023. If you are after the date, you have received no, or minimal, updates.
My ā23 was manufactured in October, I have received one unnamed update and 4.2.1.2 earlier this month. This...
Tongue weight should be 10-15% of GVWR of the trailer depending on trailer type (boats closer to 10% and campers closer to 15%.
There is no way an 8600 lbs camper has a 500-600 lb tongue with, that wouldn't be safe.
I hear you, but I kinda equate this to the ICE crowd who change their oil every 3000 miles. Is it necessary? No. Does it have some minor benefit? Probably. Is it worth it? Perhaps to that individual.
I am convinced that we spend way too much time worrying about the battery. You could charge to 100% everyday, leave it parked for weeks in the summer, and still probably have relatively minor battery degradation over the normal life span of a vehicle.
I bought the lo-max. Quality seems much better than the Bak Industries ones I have had on other trucks. Only time will tell.
Super easy install, no drains.

Unless I am just totally mistaken, unless you are on the calm screen you have to have something up in the center stack. Be it Trip, power dist, seat belts, etc.
I donāt think I have been able to have a blank center section, which I actually would prefer.
When Ford says you are up to date, they mean that there are no updates available for your VIN. It doesnāt mean that youāre on the latest version which I think is actually 6.13 or something.
You also wonāt necessarily get updates in numerical order.
If you have a 2023, you likely havenāt...
I don't think a dealer can choose not to report. Notice the word "must" is used consistently in the IRS instructions,FAQs, and Rev Proc's. I have not looked at the legislation, so I don't know what it looks like in there, but typically when there is a "must" it indicates a requirement. I'm not...
I could never survive on LV1 only and emphasizing it would only deter people from owning EVs. People already laugh in their "bro" groups about how long it takes to charge EVs.
The industry needs to emphasize 28-40 amp charging instead of the 80-amp that the f150 is capable of as it has a much...
For once in my life I am glad that I jumped on the opportunity, I would not have otherwise bought my Lightning. It was already more than I wanted to spend even with the additional $7500.
Ford will need to continue to drive the price down, and I will be curious to see the December numbers...
EDIT: Sorry, I missed where they rolled out the new incentive (3.9 for 60), so my assumption below is not likely to be the case.
I'd give it a few days, I have seen in the past when there was a transition period between incentive programs that created a delay in showing up.
The $5k lease is...
