I'm thinking of getting the same setup. Where did you get the ODB adapter? How hard was the installation ... especially the rear camera? What has been the impact on your 12v battery? Are you able to run the parking mode in this setup? If so, how long will the camera stay powered on for...
Ford needs to flood the market with PHEVs and pure EVs to ensure that they are the legacy manufacturer dominating the North American market. PHEV's are easier to swallow as an electric option for the hesitant buyers and will be their gateway to pure EVs. Ford needs to do this before the...
I agree ... I've had 5x honda civics, Mazda MX3 Precidea, Highlander, Honda CRV, Honda Odysee, RAV4, BMW 330, BMW 535xi, Mercedes M350, RD300, Tesla Model Y ... the 2023 Lightning Lariat out performs them and out rides them (comfortability).
I should be getting my notice soon. Being a current Lightning owner and seeing what Tesla now wants for the CT I'll be passing on their "offer". There is no way that I'll be shelling out 150K for a first run vehicle ... or for any other truck. I'm perfectly happy with my Lariat.
Also, take note of the pricing at your Tesla station. Different locations have different pricing (I'm assuming due to leasing rates in those areas). The difference between stations can be from 10% to almost 100% in pricing per station location (at least in my area).
I believe that there was a bit more "trickery" involved here. Read my comments on this post and also what I had left on his video. His response seemed suspicious to me.
Check my comments on the video regarding his still image insert at 2:33. The image makes it appear that the F150 Lightning is smaller than the other two trucks. You can tell that the image was 'modified' and inserted because the video is made to look like it was one continuous shot but the...
Thank you for the follow-up. This is poor implementation on their end considering that other OEMs offer this service. I use the streaming in my Model Y when waiting for the wife and kids and appreciate the distraction while charging my vehicle.
I too won't bother with the Ford streaming service.
I'm currently on Sync 4.2.1.1 and don't see the Youtube application. Is it only available in a higher version of Sync?
Background = 2023 Lariat (Canada).
I know that others have worked around this with streaming devices but I was hoping to have it available natively in the Sync system.
