Yes, Tomball ford stated today that they only have Rotunda testers which donāt provide adequate amperage. They are trying to get a different machine so they can perform the update.
I brought my 23 ER in on Friday and got told the same thing (new IPMA needed). A new module was ordered and now there is a large voltage drop which is causing the update to fail. 5 days in and Tomball Ford is now giving me a rental while they sort it out
I had the rear sensor error since last Nov when I bought the truck. The first time to dealer in Dec they replaced a rear sensor but issue persisted. Two weeks ago I brought it back in and the dealer replaced the āotherā left rear sensor. Apparently it (rear sensor) had internally failed.

Iām still getting the ārear sensor blockedā error about 10% of the time (always rear left) and Iāve had the sensor replaced last December and am currently on OTA 6.2
I agree. The parking sensor error popped up daily Nov and Dec, and hasnāt happened at all in January. But I donāt know how to check if the software was updated.
Please keep us updated on the fix. Iāve had my truck for two months (~2,000 miles) and the dealer has already replaced the rear driver sensor because they stated that was the issue. However, I still get the āParking sensor blockedā error every other day and it isnāt consistent (morning, night...
Update Dec 5: 'Parking Sensor Blocked' error came back two days after dealer replaced the sensor. Perhaps this is a software issue? "Front Parking Sensors Not Available Sensor Blocked See Manual" - Fix is expected Q1 2024 : r/F150Lightning (reddit.com)
Please share if the dealer finds a fix. I bought an ER Lariat in Nov 2023 and have the same issue. The dealer replaced the sensor but the error came back. I found this link on Reddit which is stating it is a software issue "Front Parking Sensors Not Available Sensor Blocked See Manual" - Fix...
I'd be interested in what the Dealer said the fix would be in early 2024. It took the dealer 3 days to replaced my sensor LU5Z*15K859*ACA and touch-up paint. The work order said they performed BCE diagnosis and found DTC B1B48:96 left rear outer sensor component failure.
The thing is, like...
Houston dealer said they had 4 new Lightnings in with the same issue. They replaced the sensor for me (it took a few days cuz they need to paint sensor) and it has been working correctly since
Me three. Brand new Lightning this week and I have left rear sensor and front right sensor doing the same thing with the same āparking sensor blockedā error message. Dealer told me Iād need to leave it with them for a few days. Iāll share any feedback I get once they fix the issue
