The dial can keep rotating infinitely. When you turn the car off and back on it sets the setting to Auto no matter where the dial was previously.

There is not a motor, that switch can rotate freely so the position doesn't matter. If you turn your car off and back on it's on auto by default. I imagine if you set it to on and turned your car off, they would turn off? I am not sure, never had it in manual actually.

Something there doesn't seem right. I had plenty of software updates while my truck was plugged in and I've never disabled my automatic headlights. Technically, they are off because my truck is off and charging but not disabled.

I'm with Timeless Epoch, if Siri can now tell me by battery percentage there is no reason that cannot be pulled into maps to use for route plannning. At the very least, let me manually enter an SOC when trip planning.
