Just a generic “SM2 PRO J2534 VCI” from eBay for about US$120 had no problems with it flashing any modules.

You still need to plug in FDRS via a J2534 to start USB stick upgrades as FDRS will not download the USB update without the vehicle being plugged in at the same time. I personally use the much cheaper "SM2 Pro" without any issues and have updated 9 modules in my 2022 Ranger.

Thanks for the update, I’ll leave off the 2 day FDRS for a little longer then. Strange I had updated the PCM twice and it still hasn’t registered as updated, and that TCM must be a new one since updating it two weeks ago.
