I got antsy that something was happening with my truck, so I plugged in the scanner and watched the values. When I unplug, its 90, then I drive a few minutes and its up to 92 or 93. The "kWh remaining" stays the same, so it seems to be an algorithm thing. I did notice that my max charge kWh has...
This is what others are reporting as well. I personally haven't tested it as I don't have any road trips coming up, but wonder if there was something updated. I would love to have someone compare the curves/OBD2 scanner data before and after.
I've been having issues since last week (Pixel 9) and usually force stopping Fordpass and reopening does the trick, but today that didn't fix it. Thankful for the Backup Passcode. Nothing recent in the way of Software updates on my phone, so I don't get what is going on.
Updates are not always sequential. That Frunk update was from last year, but I had still gotten all other updates including BC1.4 and the new APIM update a week or so ago. There is no rhyme or reason. I would LOVE the 500amp charging update, but I haven't seen that one in a while.
If you are...
I went to the Nashville Nascar race this weekend and Ford had their vehicles on display. Just for grins I went over and pretended to look at the Lightning just to hear what people are saying. So many people spouting blatant lies and propaganda they have heard. In the span of five minutes I let 3...
I live in Sam Graves' jurisdiction and sent his office a message. In Missouri we already pay for an alternative fuel decal for this purpose and its already more than what I would pay in gasoline. Unless they are going to phase that decal out in favor of a federal line item, its double taxation...
Good question, I would assume its only when I am in the garage right next to one another. I do seem to have to randomly cycle fordpass and bluetooth sometimes when I am out.
When I select the lightning, its just No Key Detected. When I select the MachE, I can use PAAK with the MachE. The only way I can use PAAK with the Lightning is if I select it in Fordpass, and delete the MachE from the bluetooth by clicking forget. Then that grenades the PAAK for the MachE...
Nope, not the issue. I assumed that was standard procedure. I'm saying even if I have my lightning selected, the phone connects to the MachE first and the only way to use PAAK on the lightning is to delete the Bluetooth object for the MachE, rendering it unusable. Makes no difference if I force...
So, maybe mine is a unique case, but my wife has a MachE and I have a Lightning. Most days I have to turn off bluetooth and force close the Fordpass App to get it to work. What I can't do is have my wife's MachE PAAK setup as well. Every time I get into my Lightning, it won't detect the PAAK...
What I am hoping for is that for those of us that "paid" on the sticker for the 3 years, Ford will allow us to convert to the "lifetime" subscription like they are offering new folks. I know that its wishful thinking...
Yeah, I should have clarified. I had 1.0 from the factory, and have all the modules updated via OTA or dealer and through CSPs. I just changed the few config items via Forscan to take my BC 1.0 to 1.2 (or 1.3 or whatever the number is). I don't have the animations for the lane change or...
This is something that is a massive issue for me that I can't believe that Ford hasn't fixed yet. Its about 50/50 for me whether or not my lightning or wife's mach E will charge correctly if it shows a random time. I now out of habit just unplug and replug with the app open to make sure it shows...
Update: It was my ELM 327 OBDII adapter. I needed to tell Forscan to auto increase the Baud Rate. They also gave me the .64 test build, so between those two things I now have Glare Free and BC with lane change and centering.
Have had similar issues and always open the FordPass app to make sure that when I plug in it says "waiting to charge at 00:00" (My Phone is 24h format). If it shows "waiting to charge at (current time)" I unplug and plug back in and usually that fixes it.
Related or not, my wife's MachE will...
