    Sounds like no one has the answer to the OP's question of how to unlock if the battery is dead and key lock is broke or no key available.

    OK, when I change a flat tire, I don't put any body parts under the truck, do you? And that oem jack is SO sturdy, perhaps you will crawl underneath and take a nap? Public service announcement: NEVER USE A HYDRAULIC JACK TO CHANGE A TIRE! :cool:

    OK, thanks for the more detailed info, that 's a MUCH better option than the OEM jack. I got the "$380" off road jack on sale for around $220, and very happy with it.
