As I understand, at least in the USA, you can do the scheduled service yourself. You should keep a log of what you did, the date and the mileage.

Tesla is receiving federal money to make superchargers available to non-Tesla vehicles. Elon isn't being philanthropic.

Future Fords (and others) will have native NACS ports, not CCS, so it might be assumed that they could work on V2 superchargers.

It combines the breaker and EVSE together in your subpanel. A great idea, especially if you already have a subpanel in your garage. Still good if you do not, of course not so much if it costs much more than a breaker + EVSE.
