No complaints at this point. But itās only been 1k miles. I really like the ride and the power. I donāt feel like Iām missing anything not getting the Flash. And Iām really happy with the price I paid.
I just had the Line-X done last Thursday. They removed the plastic tailgate piece and all the bed hardware except the floor bolts. They didnāt ask and I didnāt offer any input, other than asking them not to install their logo, which they complied with.
All fixed under warranty. The dealer even offered me a loaner for no charge, but I didnāt need it. They did great! It was nice to experience a dealer who really seemed to care about their customers.
I have an appointment with dealer tomorrow. Iād rather let them have an opportunity to fix it before involving you folks, unless thereās a reason you believe I might need your help. But I appreciate the offer!
It was a warm day (75f). The condensation is plainly visible. I checked for cracksā¦none. But I wouldnāt expect any with only 500 miles on the truck.
Iām hoping theyāll just replace the unit with a new one. And hoping more so they wonāt have to order the part and wait weeks to get it.
I was driving yesterday, and when I switched on the left turn signal, the indicator on the dash started to rapidly flash. Typically (old school) this meant I had a burned out bulb. So I went and checked the front and rear signals, and sure enough the driverās side rear signal wasnāt working...
Mine was missing those same two large screws. I found them at my local ACE Hardware store. I donāt recall the size, but I just took one of the associated nuts for diameter size and also took one of the other smaller screws for length. Mine came with all the clips though.
Itās a year later, and I received an email saying this program is coming back. But the MSRP limit is still $50k. And you have to purchase between April and June (I think), when they expect to run out of money.
