I think that's it. That particular blanket seems to have some kind of circuitry to detect a bonded neutral. It would turn on momentarily (0.5 - 1s) and then turn off, even while parked, and even with the bed outlets. I tested two other heating blankets (my girlfriend might have a problem) and...
Has anyone confirmed the wattage available in the cabin outlets while driving? My girlfriend was hoping to use a 120V heated blanket but it would shut off immediately in either outlet while driving.
Just a guess but it could be related to all the information gathering / sharing settings in some other menu. I know when I've tried disabling all of them, something else I did want got disabled.
That's exactly what I did. Couldn't figure it out online but had the dealership parts department order them in with the understanding I would use Ford Pass points. Manager had to train the guy on the computer how to use the points but it was no problem.
Just adding details for my experience: I could have sworn none of the breakers were tripped when I drove home with this issue and the dealer salesman and lead technician also went over all the fuse buttons and pushed them even though they weren't visibly tripped. Tech also tried hooking up to...
There's a rectangular (or circular?) button inside the dome that gets noticeably pushed out when tripped. When you push the rubber dome, that button gets pushed back in and stays in. Make sure you are checking all breakers: 2 in the bed, 1 or 2 in the cab.
Noticed my dash breaker was tripped as well. Pushed it in and no error message on start. Pretty bad error message. I'm going to give it 24 hours before I'm satisfied that it's fixed. Thanks!
Thanks. Since I'm not pressing those buttons and the circuits are working, I assume the circuit breaker is not really tripping and the errors I keep seeing are a software bug or there is a faulty circuit breaker "sensor" of some kind.
Voltmeter on the 30 amp plug showed 120 / 120 / 240 as expected. This makes sense - I now remember that the 30 amp plug draws from the same circuit as the two 120V outlet panels. What I'm still not sure about is whether there is a manual reset for the circuit breakers, or they are being reset...
I've been getting this since owning the truck (2 days). On start up I see a similar message on the big center screen with an OK button to clear. All four 120V outlets in the back work without me having to do anything except turn the truck on and hit the green pro power button in the bed. So I...
