I received mine today in Milton, Florida. I had previously purchased the Lectron which worked fine after their recall. The Ford adapter is shorter and might work better at Tesla SC stations with their short cables.
Although I mostly charge at home, I have both the Lectron Tesla Destination and the Supercharger adapters and they both work well. I have not experienced any problems yet.
I would not trust Musk as far as I through a Tesla. I believe he is about to sell the Super Charger network to the federal goverment prior to the election to meet Bidens claim that he will install 500,000 EV charge stations by 2030.
Just received the revised adapter and am going to try it this weekend. It took Lectron about three weeks to replace it. It appears well built, but unfortunately the original was defective.
The cable was inserted and clicked but apoarently it only takes a small amount of sideways tension to prevent a good connection on the DC terminals. Hopefully they will prodece an extension cable to fix the problem.
I had difficulty charging with the Vortex Lectron adapter. It turned out that due to the short power cable on the supercharger I was putting some lateral strain on the truck receptical. I pulled parallal into a SC taking up several spaces when no other vehicles were around and plugged in with...
This is what the agreement states.
Third-Party Adapter Policy
To avoid risk of serious injury and property damage, users of Tesla charging stations may only use adapters sold or provided by Tesla or by other automakers in the United States. Your use of any other adapter with Tesla’s charging...
I don't see anything about being blacklisted only this statement.

Our trailer is about 6500 lbs. We camp at local camp grounds. The range calculates out around 100 miles from 0% to 100% SOC @ about 50mph. I have not pushed the limit. After 50 miles I am at about 50% SOC. It really sucks up the electrons.
I have the XLT with the heavy duty tow package. 7000lb vs 10000lb It is just enough to let me tow my RV locally about 100 miles. It has additional cooling as opposed to the standard tow package 5000lb. I found going cross country if I used the APRP navigation app it was not that long a wait...
240 volt x 48 amp = 11.5 KW which is slightly more than the BC can accept (11.3 KW). The output is 10.5 KW. You should be using a 60 amp breaker to be in code with the 80% rule. Any higher setting than 48 amps won't increase the charge rate assuming fords data sheets are correct.
We have a 30MWH per year solar system and have net metering here in Florida. I set the charge time to electric company TOU on the truck to reduce charge cost. A direct solar to truck system would not do us any good.
Went through 3 dealers to finally get a deal done. The dealer in Pensacola was clueless. The second dealer in Crestview FL was worse. The dealer in Tallahassee FL knew about the credit/rebate program and had the appropriate forms required. The bonus was he had the exact vehicle and color (Rapid...
I would run from that dealer as fast as you can. He is lying to you. Ford does not fix pricing at a retail level ever. Look at Edmund, kbb, guru to get a better idea of what is availible and at what price. When I bought our XLT Lighting there was almost 20K difference between 4 dealers. I drove...
