Adding to the saga and hopefully last post on this issue for me. Ford Tech support worked with me to trouble shoot the charger. After a couple of sessions they opted to warranty the station Approx 15 months old.
New station arrived ahead of schedule and has been installed and I am back to my...
For the benefit of the group I thought I would post the end (I hope). I called the Ford Support Group as suggested. They informed me that I needed to be at the charger. When I got to the charger that evening, all was good. Light was blue as normal. This was after two days of white light...
I have a second charger just as at home at the office. This morning, I plugged in at the office and charging perfectly. Home charger still has white light.
Once again I have to come to you gurus as nothing shows on truck screen or charger. I connected the truck to the charger as I have done hundreds of times with no issues. I check the phone app about 30 mins later and it shows charging error. I go and look and the the truck shows having been...
Here is one for you gurus. My Lightning routine is as consistent as it can get. Commute is the same each day. From home to office. Same route everyday.
I charge at the office with a class 2 charger. The wind and temperature is about the same each day. Yet when I plug in at the office...

Okay you Gurus, I know you got the answer. I got the same type of charger at home as I do at the office. At home I peak charge at 17+ KW but at the office I always peak charge at 14.6 KW. Exactly the same type of charger. Why the difference?
Who can say? I will use it until the operating costs become excessive. That may be at 100K miles or further. I kept my last F150 to 270K and traded only because the suspension was wearing out and the cost to replace was greater than the value of the truck.
Then again, something really cool...
I am sure this is something that has already been discussed but I can't help but post due to cost. Broke rear tailight (drivers side) (my fault). Called dealers for cost and availability. Availability 24 hours. Cost $2400 (American dollars!!!!) Wow!! Be very, careful!!
For the same reason as you, I purchased the extended warranty on the battery and truck. The price was well worth the piece of mind it'll bring in those miles over 100K.
